For most of the users on the en version of the forum, there's not a lot of point beta-testing something if it's not going to be supported by IBFX, FXCM, FXDD, Alpari etc etc etc until far into 2010.
Is it actually true that these brokers won't be adopting MetaTrader 5 until far into 2010?
How long would the beta testing go for, or is there any planned/estimated official release date?
I wonder if all the tick data anylsis that I'm currently doing will soon be irrelevant.

That's a guess, and it ought to be a worst-case. But it's far from implausible as a date when MT5 leaves beta-testing as opposed to being "launched".
