I am new to the forum and to MQL. I have a system that I would like to translate to an expert advisor.
This is logic of the system:
Trading is based upon average daily range and price movement; not indicators. The initial trade will take place at the beginning of the European session, between 0600 and 0800 GMT IF there is a 30-50 pip fluctuation during the Asian session with no distinguishable trend.
If this criteria is not met, trading will not commence.
* The trade will be opened in the direction of the average daily range in a breakout position AFTER there is a spike in the fluctuation in the opposite direction.
For instance: The average daily range in the past 24 hours has been higher than the current price fluctuation. At 630 GMT, there is a dip in the current range to a new low followed by a breakout in the direction of the average daily range. A position would be placed in the direction of the move about 40 pips into the breakout.
The trade will be opened with an entry stop of 30 pips (or whatever value is so chosen based on invidividual risk assessment).
I would also like an option to not trade on Sunday.
Is an EA possible based upon this model?
