Newby Question: Can you incoporate a custom indicator in to an Expert Advisor

Hi

I am playing around with some code, getting the hang of the MetaEditor.

I have got

1) The "Price Channel" indicator code (from this site)
2) The Moving Average Expert Advisor code

What i am attempting to do is retain the code structure of the moving average advisor and impliment the parameters
of the price channel... All in to one advisor

The question: Can external "custom indicators" be referenced in the Expert Advisor, thus
exposing the functions of the custom indicator? Is so, how?

What i want to end up with is a functional EA that will do simle trend trading using the price channel.
