I got Core 2 Duo especially for the strategy tester but when I tried it i had a bad surprise.
It uses only half of the processor's capacity. One of the cores is fully engaged and the
other one is doing nothing (looking at the task manager).

2 cores not help much when s/w is just coded to run... Not being funny here, but I've always felt that xxx cores is the next biggest thing for the marketing teams of cpu makers.
If doing multimedia or like, windoz can shove stuff around to take advantage of parallel stuff but tester - for sure - is just code lump which blasts through the testing. Anyways, was written awhile ago, yes?
Maybe MQL5 environment? gotta wait for that I think.
Better to have say cheapo amd chip at about 3GHz as 2 cores probably each run at what? 1.4 or so...
