Zeus Si Cepat is a scalping-style Expert Advisor that reads short-term price movement using a combination of band-based technical indicators (price channels) on the M5 timeframe. The EA includes a grid-style averaging mechanism, which can add same-direction positions at a set distance if price moves against the initial entry, along with an automatic trailing stop to lock in running profit. Entry and exit logic run fully automatically once the EA is attached to the chart.
The EA is recommended for the GBPUSD pair on the M5 timeframe, though it can also be run on other pairs if needed.

Most EA listings show you a profit chart and ask you to trust it. I wanted to try something different with Hermes Velocity: an M5 scalping system built around a layered order structure, tested across 10.5 years of data (Jan 2016 – Jun 2026), and documented with the good, the risky, and the boring parts included — not just the highlight reel.
It's now live on the MQL5 Market (v1.4, reviewed and approved). Over the next week I'll be sharing exactly how it works, the real backtest numbers across multiple pairs, and the honest trade-offs of the strategy — including where it can go wrong.
I'd rather start this conversation with questions than a sales pitch.

Zeus Si Cepat is Now Available on MQL5 Market
Zeus Si Cepat, a scalping-style Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 4, is now published on MQL5 Market. It is built for the GBPUSD pair on the M5 timeframe and combines band-based technical indicators with a grid-style averaging mechanism and an automatic trailing stop.
What It Does
The EA reads short-term price movement using band-based indicators, opens trades automatically once a valid signal appears, and manages open positions with configurable Take Profit, Stop Loss, and Trailing Stop. If price moves against the initial entry, it can add same-direction positions at a set distance, following a maximum order limit that you control.
Four Adjustable Risk Profiles
One of the main features of Zeus Si Cepat is its flexible signal sensitivity. Two inputs, EnvDeviation and BBDeviation, let you shape the EA into a Conservative, Moderate, Aggressive, or Very Aggressive style, depending on how often you want it to enter trades and how much fluctuation you are comfortable with. You are encouraged to test different combinations in the Strategy Tester and pick the one that fits your own risk tolerance.
Tested in the Strategy Tester
The EA has been tested in the MetaTrader 4 Strategy Tester using the Every Tick execution model with 90% modelling quality, covering both a one-week and a one-year period on GBPUSD, M5. Full statistics, including net profit, profit factor, and maximal drawdown, along with balance curve charts, are available on the product page. As with any backtest, these results come from historical simulation and do not guarantee future performance.
Other Features
Automatic lot sizing based on account risk percentage, or a fixed lot size
Optional dynamic Stop Loss based on the ATR indicator
Maximum spread filter
Automatic pending order cleanup ahead of the Friday market close
On-chart account and status display
Dedicated magic number for safe use alongside other EAs or manual trades
Getting Started
It is recommended to run Zeus Si Cepat on a demo account first to get familiar with its behavior, then adjust the risk profile and money management settings to match your own account before moving to a live account.
For questions or support, please use the product's Comments section on the MQL5 Market page. The full description, parameter details, and test results are available on the product page: https://www.mql5.com/en/market/product/188546

A good EA isn't just one that profits — it's one that protects your capital ⚠️
Basket Trend Pullback Pro comes with 5 layers of protection:
🎯 Auto Basket Close — positions closed automatically once profit target is hit
🛡️ Emergency Drawdown Exit — if losses exceed your limit, all positions are force-closed
📊 Adaptive Position Control — lot sizes are automatically reduced when market conditions deteriorate
📰 News Event Filter — EA skips new entries around major economic announcements
🔁 Recovery Position — a balancing position is placed during large floating losses
Max drawdown in backtest: 41.32% (USDCHF). This isn't a small number — and we disclose it transparently because you deserve to know the risk.

Inside the Engine: How Hermes Velocity Reads the Market
A quick technical breakdown of how Hermes Velocity actually trades on M5:
It places pending stop orders to catch short-term breakout movement, rather than guessing direction with a market order. If price continues, it can add up to 3 staged orders at a fixed distance to build into the move. Every trade carries a fixed Take Profit / Stop Loss, with a trailing stop that activates once a trade is in profit. A built-in spread filter also blocks new trades whenever spread widens beyond a safe threshold — a small detail, but it matters a lot for anything running on M5.
None of this is exotic. It's a fairly transparent, rules-based structure — which is exactly why I'm comfortable explaining it in public instead of hiding behind 'proprietary algorithm.'

Beyond GBPUSD: How Hermes Velocity Performs on EURUSD, USDCHF, and USDCAD
GBPUSD is the primary recommendation, but the same v1.4 logic was also tested on three other majors over the identical 10.5-year window, mainly to check the strategy isn't curve-fitted to one instrument:
EURUSD — 309 trades, Profit Factor 1.52, max drawdown 15.3% | USDCHF — 250 trades, Profit Factor 1.42, max drawdown 29.2% | USDCAD — 199 trades, Profit Factor 3.02, max drawdown 19.4%.
Performance clearly isn't identical across pairs — USDCAD shows the strongest risk-adjusted numbers but on a smaller sample, while USDCHF carries a noticeably deeper drawdown.
That's useful information for anyone thinking about running this on more than one pair.
