Of course it's disgusting!!!

Why sit down at the gaming table with the cheats? They're professionals, they're going to win anyway.

If you look carefully at the title of the thread and what has been said on the previous 15 pages. We are discussing exactly the pips strategies and how realistic they are to use on real accounts.

It is clear (or maybe almost clear) that one cannot earn millions on real accounts by using scalping strategies. But I believe it does not mean that in fact pipsing is not viable, on the contrary, trading centers are fighting it so actively. So, I have described my idea of how we may struggle against TFs using pipsing and it really works. But I use pipsing with my hands, not with Expert Advisor.

In general I view Forex as a kind of casino and work with more or less decent money on shares, everything there is more predictable for medium-term trading.

On the other hand I work in forex either with pips or extreme entries for example on Monday night after half an hour/hour of opening with close stop and 2 times bigger profit calculated on gap close, if it was. So let's say forex is for the adrenaline.

I apologise, maybe this is a bit off-topic. I read the thread and have a question (for those who trade on the real). How do brokerage companies react to 10-15p profits? May broker consider it as pips? Is it possible to use in withdrawal? I am trading on demo account so far (about a year) but since next month I must start real trading, therefore this question is very critical for me. I trade manually, but for one month about 70% of all my trades with this kind of profit. There are 1-3 trades per day.

Answer please!

My point of view is that it's not scalping but very normal intraday trading and with such level of profits and number of deals RS should not consider it as scalping. So for example with Alpari you should not have any problems. Maybe, if the current situation continues for a long time and the depo starts to grow a lot...

Thanks for the reply. It's just a shame that the depot is growing quite fast...

What are the stoploops?

Yes, if you listen to everyone, it is profitable for brokerage companies to make traders work only at a loss :-) And profitable strategies are a bane for brokerage companies. If there is one deal a day or even a week - then it is good. But how much spreads will a brokerage company collect from long-term trading and how much from scalper that uses larger lots? I think good brokerage companies are able to enter even a scalping trade to the interbank market and in case of impossibility to perform this operation at the current moment - they will just answer with requotes.

There are no unified criteria for determining pips, but as a rule, trades of up to 1-2 minutes duration with a profit of up to 5 pips are considered pips.

10-15 pips is definitely not pips and there should be no problems. Not only problems, but no questions.

And you share your problem with your spouse - she will help in solving it :) This method always works for me.

6 pips is not a problem either, but the profitability will be no more than 4
