I am still failing to understand what the overlap setting does!!!

Overlap is a function of overlapping the first order with the last one.
This is a partial closure of a basket of orders in one direction. When using the overlap function, not the entire grid is closed, but only the very first losing order is closed using the profit of the last order from the grid. Thus, the total number of orders decreases, as well as the volume of open lots. This type of closing allows you to partially close the grid overcoming a smaller distance in points.
I have been testing the EA and I even bought it to better verify its operation. So far I noticed something particular, it gives jumps in the purchase or sale of lots that do not correspond to the logic that it describes.
GBP/USD
It made a jump from 0.12 to 0.38 if the multiplier being used is 1.5 the next batch is 0.18
EUR/USD
It's the same, the multiplier used is 1.5, but the open lot is 0.25 where it should be 0.12

The strategy of this product does not imply the use of the Stop Loss function. Unfortunately, we do not plan to add this functionality to AW Classic MACD EA.
For additional protection, the advisor has an overlap function, which allows you to close the first and last order of the basket faster.
In case I turn off overlap function in order to use classic take profit, in the meanwhile I have order stack in hand.
What is the algorithm to calculate at what point EA is going to take profit?
Let's say I trade XAUUSD and I set take profit in 1000 points.

The advisor uses a virtual TakeProfit, this type of TakeProfit is calculated not for each individual department, but for the entire basket of orders. That is, when the total of the entire basket of orders reaches the take profit specified in the settings, all orders in the basket will be closed.
