The Silver Lion
How the new version works:
1. Retrieves historical candlesticks for the current instrument.
2. Calculates the price change over the selected time horizon.
3. Normalises price movement relative to the average absolute movement.
4. Monitors a strong recent trend, waits for it to weaken, and confirms the signal based on closed candlesticks.
5. The ‘SELL’ arrow indicates a confirmed weakening of a strong uptrend; the ‘BUY’ arrow indicates a weakening of a strong downtrend.
Parameters:
- Analysis timeframe: price movement period, M15/H1/H4/D1.
- Historical bars: number of M1 bars for historical analysis.
- Normalisation period: duration of the normalisation window.
- Signal threshold: minimum strength of the normalised movement.
- Momentum period: the delay for assessing changes in velocity.
- Minimum peak strength: the minimum peak strength.
- Confirm momentum loss: momentum loss is required.
- Arrow offset / Arrow width: arrow style.
- Show information / Show signal values: display of the information panel and values.
