Trend Pulse Trader is a simple trend-following Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 4.
It trades in the direction of the moving average trend, confirms entries with RSI, and manages every trade with volatility-based Stop Loss and Take Profit.
HOW IT WORKS
- Trend direction: Fast MA compared with Slow MA on the last closed bar
- Confirmation: RSI must be above (buy) or below (sell) a configurable level
- Stop Loss and Take Profit are calculated from ATR, so they adapt to market volatility
- Optional ATR trailing stop locks in profit as the trend continues
- Optional close of open trades when the trend reverses

INPUT PARAMETERS
Signal
- Entry mode: Trend state (enter while the trend continues) or MA crossover only
- Fast MA period / Slow MA period / MA method / MA applied price
- Use RSI filter / RSI period / RSI level for buy / RSI level for sell
Exit
- ATR period
- Stop Loss (x ATR) / Take Profit (x ATR, 0 = none)
- Use trailing stop / Trailing distance (x ATR)
- Close on opposite trend
Money
- Lot mode: Fixed lot or Risk % of balance
- Fixed lot / Risk per trade (% of balance)
Filters
- Max spread in points (0 = off)
- Use time filter / Start hour / End hour (server time)
Misc
- Magic number / Slippage / Order comment
RECOMMENDATIONS
- Run a backtest and optimization on your broker's data before live trading
- Start on a demo account, then use a small lot size on a live account
- Use a different magic number when running the EA on several charts of the same symbol
