AurumnForge Breakout

AurumnForge Breakout is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 that trades selected breakout setups on gold. It evaluates completed 15-minute, 30-minute and one-hour candles. Attach it to a gold chart on any timeframe. The chart timeframe only affects the display; it does not change the timeframes used for trade signals.

How it works

The program checks its breakout conditions after a candle closes. It can open buy or sell positions when the entry rules and safety limits permit. It sets a protective stop and manages the position automatically. It does not use grid or martingale position sizing.

Setup

1. Attach the program to a gold chart in MetaTrader 5 and enable algorithmic trading.

2. Timeframe: Any. The program analyzes 15-minute, 30-minute and one-hour candles regardless of the attached chart timeframe.

3. Leave the symbol field blank to trade the chart symbol, including the broker suffix, or enter the exact symbol used by the broker.

4. The default position size is a fixed 0.01 lot. Percentage-based sizing is optional.

5. Check the gold pip size and spread limit against the broker's symbol specification.

6. A hedging account allows separate positions from the analyzed timeframes. On a netting account, positions in the same symbol may combine.

Inputs

Symbol selects the instrument. Fixed lot sets volume when percentage sizing is off. The position-sizing switch enables equity-based volume. The spread limit can block entries when the current spread exceeds the selected value. Buy and sell switches control the allowed directions. The capital guard, per-trade risk limit, combined open risk limit and floating drawdown limit restrict new entries. Dashboard switches control the chart display.

Testing and risk

Historical tests are simulations, not live trading results or a forecast. Broker prices, spreads, contract specifications and execution can change results. Trading can result in losses. Test the program with your broker's gold symbol and account settings before use.
