Signal Clarity Matrix EA
Signal Clarity Matrix EA is a closed-bar MT5 Expert Advisor built to turn a market-state checklist into a repeatable trading process. It evaluates the completed candle only, then can either remain in observe-only mode or place a single managed position when the configured conditions qualify.
How it works
The EA combines trend structure, higher-timeframe alignment, ADX/DI strength, ATR-normalized price behaviour and setup-specific validation. The on-chart Trade State Console shows the current market state, setup quality, higher-timeframe bias and next action.
Signal modes
- Auto: selects the applicable setup from the market state.
- Trend breakout: validates momentum beyond a recent range.
- Trend pullback: looks for a pullback within the active trend structure.
- Range reversal: uses range boundaries and wick/body validation.
- Trend stochastic pullback: combines the trend regime with stochastic pullback timing.
Execution and protection
- Completed-bar decisions only; no intrabar signal entry.
- Buy only, sell only or both directions.
- One managed position per EA magic number.
- ATR-based stop loss and optional take profit.
- Higher-timeframe filter, minimum score, signal gap and spread gates.
- Optional drawdown gate that can block new entries while existing positions continue to be managed.
Optional trend-recovery mode
For qualified trend-focused configurations, the EA can apply a configurable recovery multiplier to the next position after a net losing close. A 2x multiplier is available, but recovery sizing is disabled by default and must be deliberately enabled only after careful testing. The multiplier, maximum recovery steps and maximum lot are configurable. A value of zero for either maximum means there is no EA-imposed limit, which can materially increase exposure. Recovery sizing can increase drawdown and does not guarantee that losses will be recovered. Keep it disabled or set conservative limits if that behaviour is not suitable for your account.
Getting started
1. Attach the EA to the chart, then set InpEnableNewTrades=false if you want to review the Trade State Console without allowing new entries.
2. Select the signal mode, direction and higher timeframe that match your test plan.
3. Set the base lot, stop distance, take-profit multiple, spread and recovery controls.
4. Test the exact symbol, broker conditions and timeframe in the MT5 Strategy Tester before enabling new trades.
Important risk notice
Trading involves risk. This Expert Advisor does not guarantee returns or prevent losses. Historical tests are not a promise of future performance. Use a demo account and risk settings appropriate to your capital before any live deployment.
