Yes, the free version works normally. The EA opens trades only when the strategy conditions are met, so sometimes it may take time before the trade appears. Please keep it running

In PM author states that min balance that will survive is $200 / 0.01.
This is actually very good - given that we are talking about gold! :-)
Also I think this is a very important metric to be aware of when thinking in terms of DD.

I couldn't get good backtest results for XAUUSD or EURUSD, but I’ll be tracking it on US30 instead.
