As the title suggest, I am looking for someone to finalize a EA I built based on the Turtle traders methodology. Now my coding ability is very limited. Very Limited. But I've manage to come up with a bot that works pretty good and very close to the turtles rules. But I don't know if it works for the right reasons or wrong. Also there are a couple of issues that need looking at.
So I'm looking for some-one that can go through the code and do the following
- correct where necessary the things that work but because of the wrong reasons
- add code to move the stop loss of existing orders when pending orders get triggered as per turtle rules
- Check my code for determining the notional account balance the Turtles traded with.
- add magic numbers as input parameters
Also the turtles had a rule for the 20 day break that said skip the next trade if the previous trade (regardless of if traded or not) was profitable. I don't even know where to begin to code something like that. I would just turn the bot off for that period. But if this could be included as bool option in input parameters it would help finish the bot off just dandy. This is open for discussion and not a requirement for the job.
