Technical Specification for the Algo Bot:

The bot must trade gold and execute the maximum possible number of trades. The main goal is not to generate directional trading profit, but to farm trading volume.

The key priority is to keep the long-term result as close to breakeven as possible after all trading costs. The spread on gold is approximately 52 ticks, so the strategy must take this into account and should not rely on movements that are too small to cover the spread.

There are no strict requirements regarding the trading strategy itself. The bot may use any logic: scalping, momentum, mean reversion, levels, indicators, hedging, BUY/SELL combinations, frequent entries and exits, or any other approach. The exact method is not important as long as the system generates high trading volume and a large number of trades without producing a consistent net loss.

Drawdown control is also important. The bot should avoid large losing streaks and deep account drawdowns. A reasonable target would be to keep maximum drawdown below approximately 20–30%, preferably lower.

Main priorities:

1. Maximum possible number of trades and trading volume.

2. Long-term performance as close to breakeven as possible, or slightly profitable.

3. Full consideration of the approximately 52-tick spread on gold.

4. Controlled drawdown and avoidance of long losing streaks.

5. Ability to operate during most of the trading day, ideally close to 24/5.

6. Ability to hold multiple positions simultaneously.

7. The bot may hold BUY and SELL positions at the same time if this helps keep the system closer to breakeven.

The core idea is simple: this bot is not designed primarily as a profit-generating trading strategy. It is designed to farm as much trading volume as possible while minimizing losses and keeping drawdown under control.
