Fix and Optimize Profitable EA – Works Perfectly in Demo but Loses in Real Account (IC Markets)

Hello,

I have a High Frequency Trading EA for MT4 that performs consistently profitable in demo accounts, but when I switch to a real account (IC Markets Raw), it starts to generate losses under the same conditions.

Everything — settings, VPS, broker, and market hours — is exactly the same.
This indicates the issue is likely related to execution speed, slippage handling, or real tick behavior.

I am looking for an experienced MQL4 developer who can:

  1. Review and debug the EA to identify why performance differs between demo and real.

  2. Optimize order logic for live trading (slippage, requotes, latency, spread filters).

  3. Ensure consistent profitability in real conditions.

  4. Optionally improve logs, add safety features, and fine-tune trade filters.

You should have:

  • Experience with HFT / Scalping / Grid EAs.

  • Knowledge of IC Markets live server environments (NY4 / LD5).

  • Ability to run comparative testing on demo vs live tick data.

I will provide:

  • Full source code (.mq4)

  • Set file with my parameters

  • Screenshots and trading logs from both demo and real accounts
