Looking for best price and least time with clean code with zero error. I have multiple strategies to develop and would like to worth with this person long-term. See strategy below:
1. Identify the high and low price for 15min bar (option to select time of day the candle is being identified and timeframe) at a certain. This parameter will be used to set trades at different market opens for the day eg London open, New York Open etc (typically 2nd or 3rd candle after the open).
2. Place a buy stop at the high of the 2nd 15min bar and a sell stop at the low of the 2nd 15min bar as soon as the candle closes (option to use different timeframe here as well). Add the option for an offset to the buy and sell stops to account for broker spread (the offset should be manually inputted). The stop loss distance is equivalent to the opposite order. For example, if the buy stop is triggered, the stop loss is at the sell stop.
In a scenario where the buy stop is triggered but ends in a loss and the sell stop is triggered, place another buy-stop at the originial buy-stop. (Option for maximum number of trades that can be taken with the EA)
4. Trade size should be calculated based on the risk of the trade eg 0.5% (option to configure eg 1% of account, 2% of account)) of the start of-day equity balance.
5. Profit taking is 2 times the stop loss size (option to configure eg 1R, 1.5R, 3R etc). If a trade is profitable, the EA will close all orders for that magic number and wait until the next day to set trades. However, please note I will be using the same EA across multiple instruments and times of the day. For example I might set the EA for AUDUSD at 9am and then 1pm. If the 9am trade is profitable, the EA should still take the 1pm orders.
6. Set a parameter for the maximum % drawdown for the day (option to configure). If the maximum drawdown is breached, all trading should stop for the day and resume the following day.
