I lecture at the University of Stellenbosch Business School in finance, statistics, and business analytics. I have my MBA from the same university.
I own Acuere Projects and provide business services in financial model building as well as system design and automation.
My interest in trading started out for personal use and the automation of my system was required as I am unable to watch the market 24/5 and calculate trade opportunities across 47 currency pairs as efficiently as an algorithm. My new path is fund management using my algorithm as large fund owners have approached me of late and are interested in the returns of my system. My trading follows a documented constitution and even the few manual admin tasks I perform are strictly governed by the rules of the system. If this were not so, I could not validate the performance of my system.
