Hi,

This is a two-part project: Develop an indicator, then use that indicator in an EA

The indicator is based off the ATR.

  • This indicator will have 3 signal lines: ATR, ATR+, ATR-.
  • TR, used to calculate the ATR, is the absolute value of the difference between high and low in one time period.
  • TR+, used to calculate the ATR+, uses the absolute value of the difference between high and open in one time period.
  • TR-, used to calculate the ATR-, uses the absolute value of the difference between open and low in one time period.

The EA is based off the MA10 and the modified ATR.

  • Long, short, and both positions
  • Weekly and monthly timeframe
  • Customizable day and time settings
  • Current price ≥ (Open long coefficient * MA10)
  • Take profit = buy price + (TP long coefficient * ATR+)
  • Stop loss = buy price - (SL long coefficient * ATR-)
  • TSL = ATR period low + (TSL long coefficient * ATR+)
