MT4 EA to be backtested using Dukascopy data.
1. 10 currency pairs to be tested and optimized.
2. Period Time frame - H1. Test with $10,000 account.
3. Test to be run in 10 years Dukascopy historic data
4. Parameter optimisation in 2 phases . Initially larger range and later detailed small range
Parameters to be optimized same for all pairs
Parameter / Start / Step /Stop
Grid Size / 15 / 10 / 75 (7 steps)
For Phase 2: if 45 is the optimal above 41, 43, 45, 47, 49 ( 5 steps)
Lot multiplier / 1 / 0.25 /2 (5 steps)
For Phase 2: If 1.5 is optimal in phase1, then for phase 2: 1.4, 1.45, 1.5, 1.55, 1.6 ( 5 steps)
TakeProfit / 15 /10 / 55 (5 steps)
For Phase 2: if 25 is optimal, for phase 2, we will test 21, 23, 25, 27, 29. ( 5 steps)
ProfitUSDclose = 200 USD
SET file for other parameters will be provided.
5. 2nd phase parameters to be optimised after 1st phase.
6. The report for each pair should be in the format of the attached file- “Sample format for GBPUSD”.
Evidence that you have dukascopy data with 10 years history needs to be shown.
