Long Term Hedge Robot - Carefully read specification to see if you can build this properly.

This robot is designed to trade long and short continuously, always in the market. However, the management of this system will be slightly different.

Rules:

• Buys and sells will be independent of each other.

• Buy sequence and sell sequence will have a different magic number (variable)

• If there are no buy trades open - BUY

• If there are no sell trades open – SELL

• Take profit pips or points, specify in the settings (variable). The take profit will apply to the most recent open trade, when this take profit is hit, this closes the entire buy or sell sequence, whether there is only one buy/sell open, or whether there are multiple buy/sell trades open. The buy sequence and the sell sequence are separate. I would like 2 different take profits. The first target will apply to levels 1,2 and 3. The second take profit will apply to every level from level 4 onwards, variable in the settings. targets and stops don't have to be physical hard stops and targets. they can be calculations which then close all in the sequence.

• Here is the key to this system, we don’t just open buy or sell trades on a fixed grid. I want to use pending orders which trail behind price e.g. In a buy example let’s say we have buy number 1 open, after this if price moves against us ‘x’ pips place a pending buy stop ‘x’ pips above current price. As price falls further this pending buy stop should track price downwards keeping a set distance from price e.g 50 pips for example. This way, price has to turn around and move upwards towards our pending buy stop to trigger the trade. This method will be repeated for each additional level. This means that in a strong move, not as many buy or sell trades will be triggered and we will be out of the market.

• Position sizing: I want 2 selectable settings for position size. The first being a calculation, balance divided by ‘x’ variable. E.g. 10’000 / 10’000 = 1 lot. The second being a simple decimal entry e.g. 0.01

• Position sizing for additional trades in the open grid, martingale in the settings. Variable decimal e.g. x 1.1 or 1.2 0r 1.3 etc so I can test different martingale settings. If martingale set to 1 there is no martingale multiplier.

• Max number of levels in the grid variable in the settings e.g. 14 buys or 14 sells etc.

• Stop loss on the last level variable in the settings e.g. if the last level goes x pips negative, close the whole buy or sell sequence and start from level 1 again immediately.

• Choose in the settings whether to use buy sequence only/ sell sequence only or use buy and sell sequence together.
