Example 1: How much lot size of CHFJPY is equivalent to 1 lot size on EURUSD on MT4 platform

The lot size equivalency between currency pairs can vary depending on the specific broker and platform being used. However, as a general guideline, the lot size of CHFJPY would need to be adjusted to reflect the relative value of the two currencies compared to EURUSD.

Assuming a direct currency conversion, where 1 lot size of EURUSD is equivalent to 100,000 units of base currency (EUR), and considering the exchange rate between CHFJPY and EURUSD, the lot size equivalency can be calculated.

Let's assume the exchange rate for CHFJPY is 110 and the exchange rate for EURUSD is 1.15.

To calculate the equivalency:

Convert the base currency (EUR) to the target currency (CHF) using the exchange rate for EURUSD:

100,000 EUR * 1.15 = 115,000 USD

Convert the target currency (CHF) to the base currency (JPY) using the exchange rate for CHFJPY:

115,000 USD / 110 = 1,045 JPY

Therefore, 1 lot size of CHFJPY would be approximately equivalent to 1,045 lot size on EURUSD.

Please note that this calculation is based on the given exchange rates and may vary depending on the current market conditions and the specific broker's settings.

Example 2 How much lot size of XAUUSD is equivalent to 1 lot size on XAGUSD on MT4 platform

The lot size equivalency between XAUUSD (Gold) and XAGUSD (Silver) can vary depending on the specific broker and platform being used. However, as a general guideline, the lot size of XAUUSD would need to be adjusted to reflect the relative value of gold and silver.

Gold (XAU) and silver (XAG) have different market values and are quoted differently. Gold is typically quoted per troy ounce, while silver is quoted per ounce.

The ratio between gold and silver prices is known as the gold-silver ratio. This ratio represents how many ounces of silver it takes to buy one ounce of gold.

Let's assume the current gold-silver ratio is 70, meaning it takes 70 ounces of silver to buy one ounce of gold.

To calculate the equivalency, you need to adjust the lot sizes based on the gold-silver ratio:

Convert the lot size of XAUUSD (Gold) to an ounce value:

If 1 lot of XAUUSD represents 100 troy ounces of gold, then 1 lot of XAUUSD is equivalent to 100 ounces of gold.

Convert the ounce value of gold to an ounce value of silver using the gold-silver ratio:

100 ounces of gold * 70 = 7,000 ounces of silver.

Therefore, 1 lot size of XAUUSD would be approximately equivalent to 7,000 lot size on XAGUSD.

Please note that the gold-silver ratio can vary, and it's important to consider the current market conditions and the specific broker's settings to determine the precise equivalency between lot sizes of XAUUSD and XAGUSD.

Example 3 How much lot size of XAUUSDis equivalent to 1 lot size on XAUGBP on MT4 platform

The lot size equivalency between XAUUSD (Gold) and XAUGBP (Gold priced in British Pounds) can vary depending on the specific broker and platform being used. However, as a general guideline, the lot size of XAUUSD would need to be adjusted to reflect the relative value of gold priced in different currencies.

To calculate the equivalency, you need to consider the exchange rate between USD and GBP. Let's assume the exchange rate for XAUGBP is 1.35, meaning 1 British Pound is equivalent to 1.35 US Dollars.

Convert the lot size of XAUUSD (Gold) to a value in USD:

If 1 lot of XAUUSD represents 100 troy ounces of gold, and the price of XAUUSD is $1,800 per ounce, then 1 lot of XAUUSD is equivalent to $180,000.

Convert the value in USD to an equivalent value in GBP using the exchange rate for XAUGBP:

$180,000 / 1.35 = £133,333.33 (approximately)

Therefore, 1 lot size of XAUUSD would be approximately equivalent to £133,333.33 lot size on XAUGBP.

Please note that exchange rates can fluctuate, and it's important to consider the current market conditions and the specific broker's settings to determine the precise equivalency between lot sizes of XAUUSD and XAUGBP.
