My favourite are EURUSD, EURJPY. You can also try other pairs with more conservative settings
Broker and Leverage
"Steady" is not broker sensitive, you may chose any broker you trust to. The less the spread is, the better.
Recommended leverage is 1:100 and 1:500 is even better.
Recommended TimeFrame
Time Frame of the chart for real live execution does not matter. But, make sure that you have all timeframes data available in history center (F2).
For BACKTESTING IN MT4 the timeframe must be M1. You also should load all available timeframes in MT4. In MT5 any timeframe for backtesting will work.
Settings Description
Base Lot, per every 1000 of Balance - sets the lot. It is calculated asBaseLot*(Balance/1000). So, if you have an Account with 2000USD and Base lot is 0.05, your traded lot will be 0.05*(2000/1000) = 0.1
Recovery Aggression - "Steady" has a built-in recovery algo. It will auto increase the lot after the losing trade to recover the loss. Lott is calculated dynamically. The bigger the recovery aggression parameter is set, the more aggressive lot increase happens. If set to 0, there will be no lot increase and all trades will be performed with Base Lot, as per settings above
Max Lot, times Base Lot - Limits the max lot, which can be used if Smart Recovery is enabled. It is set as a multiplier for base lot. I.e. if it is set as 15 and base lot as per calculations above is 0.1 lots, the Max allowed lot per trade would be 15*0.1=1.5
Spread Filter - allows avoiding trades in high volatility times when broker increases the spread
Hidden Stops - If true, no SL and TP will be sent to broker, but EA will close the trades by itself instead. EA must be up and running at all times in order for this option to work.
Magic Number - unique EA identifier. Should be set different in case when multiple instances of EA are used on the same currency pair.
Buttons Description
No Action - enables / disables "No Action" or Sleep mode, when EA is not taking any trading action. May be useful when you decide to manage trades manually. Also, you can enable No Action after migration to MQL5 VPS, so EA does not attempt to trade on your local PC.

Limitations
1) "Steady" is designed for trading ForEx. It was not tested on metals, shares etc.
2) "Steady" will not work on accounts with overnight positions rollovers (closing and reopening by broker). ALL ACCOUNTS WITH SWAPs ARE OK.

I wish i can give a negative star review. But no stars is as low as it can go. The ea cost alot to make you think its a good product. Once you buy you have to post a good review in order to get to the telegram with hopes of making it work but the truth is it never does. You will not only loose money buying this garbage you will also loose your money that you have the ea manage for you. RUN! if you want to have any money there are some eas that make money this isn't one of me trust me i have nothing to gain. The back test is manipulated and your trading results wont even come close you will slowly drain your account and feel even worse because you basically spent money to loose money and alot of it. Like i said i have nothing to gain only to help you save your money ,i lost mine.

I hate to leave a review like this, but when something is so expensive, people need to know. Steady is not profitable. It sets a very low TP to SL ratio, so the risk is quite high and it does not seem to have a high enough win rate to make up for lost trades. It is very obvious this EA will blow your account when it inevitably goes on a losing streak. I believe the publisher did his best, but it is not a profitable EA and very likely overoptimized. It goes to show you - just because something is more expensive does not make it better. Lesson learned.

The live performance does not correspond to the backtest results!
False backtests, after release date if you test it you will see it has very bad results and will blow your account. Uses a martingale system which we all know it's very dangerous

This EA is profitable just before it is released. If you run backtests, it will show you great profit but look at the result carefully.
After it is released, its result is terrible. If some bad trades go on, a new version that fixed the bad trades comes out.
This is repeating. Most of all, the author Andrey Barinov himself does not use his EA in real account.
This is what he himself said. If I had known this, I would never have bought this EA. Would you?

He always answers questions and help you with every step Steady EA is an amazing EA, it opens trade right at support and resistance. if you are experienced, you can help EA manage trades, move SL to BE, open extra trade with EA and all that stuff.
