Regarding to file types - Metatrader use two types of files: * ex4 - compiled application * mq4 - code of the application
When you purchased the indicator, you download ex4 file containing functionality of the indicator. It means you can use the indicator in your MT4 by adding to your chart and can be called by EA via iCustom function. You can find documentation of iCustom function here:https://docs.mql4.com/indicators/icustom The mq4 file has never been meant for distribution and our Piptick policy does not permit sharing of indicator codes. However, there is common practice to use indicator within EA via iCustom function.
Regarding to VSA change requests, we have already added audio alerts to our to-do list. There are no such a functionality as sending an e-mail notification in MT4.
As I stated in my review, traders who are not coders and use EAbuilder.com would need the mql4 file, I understand you not wanting to release your mql4 file but If you had responded to my inquiries sooner I may have reconsidered purchasing. It can look the same but it's not! Our indicator uses very precise rules for evaluation of patterns. So, it is much more accurate.
