When market open. Set magic number to zero, and open sell-stop-limit or buy-stop-limit order direct from terminal not EA panel.

Now it is clear. you write about sell_stop_limit or buy_stop_limit orders - I can say that these orders are not supported.

Hello :)

I'm being using the tool for some months, so far I'm pretty satisfied, but I'd like to highlight 2 points of enhancements.

First, the text of the line levels are written in white, and there is no way to change the text color, and I'd like to use white background on my charts in the same time that I'd like to be able to read the line legend, please, could you consider adding an Input to choose the color of the text the EA settings panel?

Secondly, this is more tricky though, Very often I would like to increase in a position, and there is no way other than rearranging all the grids, I would be nice to see in the EA an option to buy or sell at market an given lot in the selected grid. I drawn an example of it could be, once a grid is select, would be good to be able to add to it.. you could even restrict it, if it is a buy grid you could only add buy positions, if it is a sell grid, you could only add market orders for sell, thank you!!!

Hello, ok, I'll write this down.

Regarding color editing - I think that this can be done without problems.

Regarding the second point, I need to think about it.

Hello, this inscription means that at the price at which you set the line it is impossible to open the selected type of pending order. Move the line to an acceptable price.

Hi Alfiya,

There is something wrong when using the EA with one specific asset, and it is happening on my 2 different MT Terminals in the same broker, so it isn't ocasional,

As shown, I have 4 positions open, they sum up a loss of -104,12 but it is being calculated by the EA as -176,85, this error makes the breakeven line to be wrong calculated as well as the take profit etc... I will post the screenshot of the asset specification too, just in case that it useful for you, its Natural Gas. Thank you!!

Hello, it shows profit + swap. Open the "swap" column and check it.

The utility takes these values from the same column where you look at the profit value, and uses these values as they are, simply sums them up, so there is unlikely to be any error there.

Rafael Alfredo Capucho

thank you for the fast reply!!

You were right, it was due to the Swap, my broker didn't charge for Swaps for the major pairs that it why I wasn't looking for it, it got me by surprise that Natural Gas has swap in my broker and it is super huge, I wasn't aware, thank you!!

Hello,

There are two options for creating a grid:

1) you set the step yourself,

2) the step is set by the ATR indicator

If you want to set the step yourself, then select option number 1.

New question does the expert calculate for partial fills? i got partial fills in grids and want to know if TP is calculated by opened volume or pending volume?

thanks

Gert van Bruggen

Hi,

So far, I'm really pleased with the Grid Manual; it offers a lot of options I didn't even know were possible. However, one issue I regularly encounter is that when the market moves quickly, it opens the first pending order but then doesn't have enough time to place the next pending order. The only solution seems to be widening the grid, but in normal market conditions, I prefer them to be closer together, which works great when the market moves normally.

Now, here's my suggestion: I've also experimented with other Grid EAs, and many of them have the option to only place one order per candle or one order per XX minutes. If something like that could be implemented here, for example, only allowing one order per candle or per X minutes, it could work like this: if the market moves fast, it opens the first pending order and any others within that same candle or timeframe are pushed up, moving the entire remaining grid away until that candle is finished or XX time has passed, and then it will place a new order.

I hope something like this could be possible; perhaps others reading this would find it useful as well.

Hello, I’m not sure that I will add new functionality to the grid manual in the future. but I'll write down your suggestion anyway.

Regarding pending orders, you can refuse to use pending orders. The grid manual can open positions immediately when the price touches each level. This setting is here:
