Yes, you can read.

Buffer 0: current speed

Buffer 1: max speed

Buffer 2: average speed

Buffer 3: min speed

Buffer 4: current speed with direction 

For example read current speed: 

double speed = iCustom(NULL, 0, "IceFX.VelocityMeter", 0, 0);

Am I correct to understand that the tan histogram represents the max and min speed on each candle? What does the yellow histogram show? I notice that sometimes there is no yellow bar. Is the red line a plot of the average speed? Does the number for Speed of Market show ticks/second?

Excellent tool ! I used it for nearly 1 1/2 year now. Also room for some idea improvements, but anyway....

 

HOWEVER !!  Since latest Build of this week Build 940 of 11 December 2015  MT4  the tool IS NOT WORKING ANYMORE.

 

PLS Norbert, if you would be so kind to update code to this build would be great. Is defenitely a good product and you should sell it :)

Does this indicator work in backtester when terminal is loaded with real tick data?

I tried using it in the backtester with real tick data, but most of the values were just zeroes?

Yes, it is working, when the Backtest model is 'Every tick'.

I'm using VelocityMeter for trailing stop. It the speed is bigger, I'm trailing with bigger distance, if slower, trailing smaller distance.

I'm working a trailing robot what is working on basis of this logic.
