This is a great tool.

Am I able to replicate this & have several chart groups e.g. four different currency pairs in one group (with blue "group" on each chart) & then another four different currency pairs in another group (with red "group" on each chart). And both groups working independently of each other when I drag a symbol onto each group?

Yes, (both) groups work independently of each other:

When you change a chart, only the charts belonging to the corresponding group get synchronized. Charts belonging to another group are not affected.

for a blue chart group (the Symbol is synchronized) 4 different currency pairs doesn't make sense:

As soon as you change the Symbol (market) of any chart all other charts of the group will get this Symbol. 

A blue chart group is used for multi timeframe analysis of one single Symbol. Several Charts with different timeframe(period) of the same Symbol.
