WHAT IT DOES
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ROX FALLBACK trades gold using two independent strategies:
- BREAKOUT BUY (main strategy)
The EA identifies the last valid swing high on H1, confirmed by a fractal (the highest candle among 10 bars on each side). A buy is opened only after 4 consecutive M15 candles close above that level. If price falls below the base of the pattern, the setup is cancelled automatically.
- FALLBACK SCAN
During strong, continuous rallies there may be no recent swing high to watch. Instead of staying idle, the EA extends its search deeper into price history to find the next valid level. This is where the name comes from.
- TREND-FOLLOWING SELL
Sells are opened only when all 7 of 7 confirmations align: price below EMA200, EMA200 sloping down, RSI, MACD, EMA21 alignment and a bearish candle. Sells are rare and highly selective.

The DEFAULT settings are aggressive and are NOT suitable for prop firm challenges. For prop firm accounts, use:

- UseNewsFilter = true (if your firm restricts news trading)
Important:
- Trades may be held for several days, including over the weekend. Check whether your firm allows this.
- Some prop firms do not allow commercially available EAs. Always check your firm's rules before using any EA.

- The EA was optimized for gold. It runs on other symbols without errors, but the strategy has only been validated on XAUUSD.

HOW TO BACKTEST

1. Pressione F2 (Central de Histórico) e baixe os dados do XAUUSD para M1, M15 e H1. O EA utiliza os três períodos.
2. Abra o Testador de Estratégia: selecione ROX FALLBACK XAUUSD MT4, símbolo XAUUSD, período H1, modelo "A cada tick".
3. Spread: "Atual" ou um valor fixo de 30 a 40 pontos.
4. Utilize as configurações padrão para reproduzir os resultados acima.
