ChannelZonesTmk

ChannelZonesTmk draws the two things price actually respects: the channel it is travelling inside, and the supply and demand zones it left behind on the way. Both are built automatically from swing pivots, so there is nothing to draw by hand and nothing to re-adjust as the market moves.

WHAT IT DOES

Automatic price channel from three pivots. The indicator tracks alternating swing highs and lows. When a valid high-low-high or low-high-low sequence forms, it builds a channel: one line through the two matching pivots, a parallel line projected from the middle pivot, and a dashed midline between them. The channel updates itself as new pivots form and can be extended to the right so you always see where the boundaries sit ahead of price.

Smart supply and demand zones. A separate, larger pivot period finds the significant swing points and turns them into zones. A sell zone is built from the swing high down to the candle body; a buy zone from the swing low up to the body. Each zone can be widened by a configurable percentage so long wicks are included and stop hunts are less likely to clip you.

Mitigation with confirmation. A zone is not deleted the moment price pokes through it. It is only removed after a configurable number of candles have actually closed beyond it, which keeps zones alive through the noise and removes them once they are genuinely broken.

Clear direction labels. Every zone is tagged on the chart with a green BUY or a red SELL marker, so you know at a glance which side of the market the level belongs to, without decoding colours.

On-chart panel. Shows whether the current channel is rising or falling, and lists the active zones with their price levels. Two panel positions, fully recolorable.

Performance cap. Processes only the last N bars (configurable) so it stays light even on long histories.

TUNING IT

The two pivot periods are the main controls. A larger channel period gives fewer, broader channels; a larger zone period keeps only the major zones and ignores minor swings. For XAUUSD a channel period around 25 to 50 and a zone period around 60 to 100 is a sensible starting point, but every symbol and timeframe is different, so test before you rely on it.

Channels and zones are computed from closed bars only, and nothing is painted back onto history.
