Hello John. I would like to inform you that I just purchased your EA. I am testing the EA now. However please share to us the Set file for XAUUSD, GBPUSD and EURUSD
Nguyen David

Dear John,

I recently purchased and tested the ICT Concept Pro EA, and I truly appreciate the logic and structure of the system. It aligns well with ICT concepts and performs consistently. However, after several days of live and demo testing, I would like to share some observations and suggestions for improvement.

  1. Stop Loss Flexibility

The current stop loss setup is fixed. I suggest adding an option to calculate the SL dynamically — for example, as a multiple of ATR or based on Swing High/Low levels, with the ability to add a few pips of offset. This would make the EA more adaptive to different market conditions.

  2. Auto Close by Daily Profit

The EA already includes a Day Profit Close feature, which is great. However, I noticed that when the EA runs continuously over several days, the cumulative profit grows, but the daily protection logic doesn’t seem to reset or function as intended.

It would be helpful if the system could reset and protect profits per day, ensuring that once the daily profit target is reached, trading stops or positions are closed properly before resuming the next day’s cycle.

  3. Optional Global Auto Close

In addition, it would be beneficial to include a global Auto Close feature that can close all open positions once the total floating profit reaches a defined amount or percentage of balance, regardless of the trading day.

These improvements would greatly enhance capital protection and trading flexibility for users.

Thank you for your continued work on this EA — it has strong potential, and I look forward to future updates.

Subject: Feedback and Feature Suggestions for ICT Concept Pro EA

Dear Developer’s Name or ICT Concept Pro Team

I recently purchased and tested the ICT Concept Pro EA, and I’m impressed with its overall logic and implementation of ICT principles. After several days of testing, I’d like to share some feedback and suggestions that could further improve its performance and make it more suitable for professional and Prop Firm trading.

  1. Stop Loss Flexibility

The current stop loss is fixed, which limits adaptability. It would be beneficial to add an option that calculates SL dynamically — for instance, as a multiple of ATR or based on Swing High/Low levels, with an additional few pips of adjustable buffer.

  2. Daily Profit Close (Profit Consistency)

The EA should include a refined Daily Profit Close mechanism that resets at the start of each trading day. This function would help maintain daily profit consistency — automatically locking in profits once the daily target is achieved and preventing overtrading after a profitable day.

  3. Global Auto Close (Profit Protection)

I recommend adding a Global Auto Close feature to automatically close all current positions when the total floating profit reaches a defined amount or percentage of the account balance. This would act as a strong safeguard to protect accumulated profits across multiple days.

  4. Enhanced Max Daily Drawdown Control

To align better with Prop Firm trading rules, it would also help to expand the Max Daily DD options — for example, introducing:

    • Daily Reset Water Level,

    • Trailing Drawdown based on Balance, and

    • Custom Reset Time (based on server or session close).

These features would make the EA more adaptable, capital-efficient, and compliant with Prop Firm risk rules while improving long-term profitability.

Thank you for your hard work and for developing such a solid EA. I hope these suggestions help guide future updates of ICT Concept Pro.

I’d like to implement three high-impact features to bring the EA closer to prop-firm-grade trade management standards:

1. Smart Stop-Loss Logic

Stop loss should be calculated dynamically based on:

  • Market structure: Identify swing highs/lows from both HTF and LTF to anchor SL beyond structural liquidity points.

  • Volatility (ATR): Adjust SL distance proportionally to recent volatility.

  • Price fine-tuning: Align SL with round numbers, quarter levels, or small pip offsets to avoid stop hunts.

→ Goal: adaptive SL that respects structure, volatility, and precision — maintaining realistic RR ratios and institutional logic.

2. Daily Profit Consistency

Implement an equity-based profit lock system:

  • Track the day’s total profit relative to equity at session open.

  • Once a new daily peak is reached, lock X% (e.g. 70%) of that profit as a “floor.”

  • If equity retraces below that locked level, EA automatically moves all SLs or partially/fully closes positions to secure profits.

→ This mimics prop-firm capital protection: no big drawdowns after solid gains.

3. Multi-Position Profit Protection & Position Rules

  • EA may hold multiple trades in the same direction (scaling in).

  • Manage them as a basket — monitor combined floating P/L and apply a basket profit lock similar to the daily lock.

  • Prevent hedging: no Buy and Sell positions at the same time on the same symbol.

  • New entries allowed only if:

    • Same direction as existing positions.

    • Distance from last entry ≥ a set pip/ATR gap.

    • The basket is already in net profit.

→ Ensures disciplined scaling, controlled exposure, and consistent equity growth.

Summary:

This upgrade focuses on institutional-grade risk control, dynamic SL precision, and prop-firm-style profit consistency — keeping the EA profitable yet drawdown-resilient.

Subject: Feedback and Feature Request for ICT Concept Pro v1.5

Hello John

I’ve recently updated to ICT Concept Pro version 1.5, and first of all, thank you for your continuous improvements — the EA is performing very well so far.

I have a few technical questions and feature suggestions I’d like to discuss:

Questions:

Could you clarify how Daily DD Protection and Daily Profit Protection are implemented — are they calculated based on closed trades or floating equity?

Regarding Global Profit Close, does it run on a tick basis (checked every tick) or on candle close?

Feature Requests:

Please consider adding a Dashboard Mode Control, allowing the user to select the operating mode directly on the dashboard:

  • Buy only
  • Sell only
  • Buy & Sell
  • Stay Out (pause trading)

Add an input field for specific capital allocation per EA instance — this would help when running multiple EAs on one account but managing risk separately.

These features would greatly improve usability and risk management flexibility.

Looking forward to your response.

Nguyen David

Dear ICT Concept Pro Team,

Thank you for the continuous improvement of ICT Concept Pro — the EA is becoming more stable, flexible, and safer in live trading.

I’d like to share five focused suggestions for further refinement:

  1. Dashboard Mode – quick control for Buy / Sell / Stay Out directly from the panel.
  2. Capital Allocation per EA – dedicated balance input for multi-EA risk management.
  3. Profit-Oriented Pyramiding – allow additional trades from different strategies in the same direction only when the current cluster is in profit (essential for multi-strategy control).
  4. Trade Distance Control – define minimum spacing between entries based on ATR, not fixed pips, to adapt to volatility.
  5. Potential Idea Risk Protection – evaluate total open and pending risk before any new trade to prevent exceeding cluster exposure limits.

Excellent progress so far — these refinements would elevate ICT Concept Pro to a truly professional, risk-intelligent trading system.

John Muguimi Njue

Hey David,

Good to hear EA is on course to achieve your goals, definitely will continue to put more effort and address all your requirement to the best of my knowledge...

Q1: Daily DD Protection and Daily Profit Protection - Closed trades or floating equity?

1. Daily DD Protection: Uses FLOATING EQUITY

2. Daily Profit Protection: Uses CLOSED TRADES (Balance-based) > Only considers realized profits from closed positions

Q2: Global Profit Close - Tick basis or candle close?

Global Profit Close - Tick basis or candle close? > Global Profit Close runs on TICK BASIS

The equity-based DD protection provides real-time safety, while balance-based profit targets prevent premature exits from floating drawdowns.

will work on your remaining optimization and update.

Feedback for EA ICT Concept Pro

First of all, thank you for updating the EA based on my previous feedback — I really appreciate your responsiveness. I’d like to suggest two additional improvements that could make the EA’s logic even tighter and more reliable:

  1. Spread & Slippage Protection for Market Orders, and Time Interval Limit for Limit Orders
    • Please consider adding Spread and Slippage protection for Market Orders to prevent entries when the market is too volatile.
    • For Limit Orders, it would be great to have a “Time Interval Limit (Candle Count)” option so that pending orders automatically expire if not triggered within a certain number of candles.
  2. Partial Profit Exit Logic
    • Partial exits should be calculated based on the remaining position volume, not the initial volume.
    • The closing volume for each partial exit should be rounded to 0.01 lots (or the symbol’s minimum volume step) for better precision and broker compatibility.

These two small refinements will make the EA more robust, consistent, and safer in execution.

John Muguimi Njue

Feedback and Improvement Suggestions for EA ICT Concept Pro

Dear ICT Concept Pro Team,

I would like to share some constructive feedback and improvement suggestions regarding the current version 1.6 of the EA ICT Concept Pro, focusing on dashboard usability, input parameter validation, and account management reference values.

1. Dashboard Layout and Real-Time Updates

  • Please consider reorganizing the dashboard into a more compact and customizable layout.
  • Users should be able to define font size and relocate dashboard elements (e.g., drag and drop) based on personal preferences.
  • The interactive buttons should change their text color or visual state when clicked, to clearly indicate interaction.
  • Data displayed on the dashboard (e.g., time, floating equity, PnL, etc.) should update in real-time depending on the context of the function being displayed.
  • When users change the chart time frame, the dashboard data should continue to refresh and remain synchronized without delay or display errors.

2. Parameter File Input Validation

  • All input parameters in the parameter file should include range and consistency validation.
  • For example, “Allocated Balance for this EA” must not be negative or greater than the total account balance.
  • Similar validation checks should be applied to all relevant numerical or logical parameters to prevent invalid configurations that could affect trading logic or system performance.

3. Daily Account Management Reference Value

  • The EA should calculate and maintain a Reference Value for Account Management each day, with flexible configuration through one of the following five options:
    1. Balance
    2. Equity
    3. Max(Balance, Equity) at the daily reset time (hh:mm)
    4. Highest Recorded Balance
    5. Highest Recorded Equity

  • This Account Reference Value should serve as the base metric for managing daily risk limits and protecting accumulated profit for the next trading session.
  • The reference update timing and logic (daily reset) should be clearly defined and traceable in the system logs.

Thank you for your continued work on this EA. These improvements would significantly enhance usability, stability, and consistency in both manual and automated risk

Proposal: 4 Base Models for Risk per Trade — Enhancing Compounding Efficiency for Different Trading Styles

I would like to propose an enhancement to the EA’s risk management module — introducing four base calculation modes for determining Risk per Trade, designed to optimize the compounding effect across different trading styles.

This approach introduces a level of capital management flexibility that is rarely implemented in most EAs currently available on the market, and could serve as a unique competitive advantage for ICT Concept Pro.

1️⃣ Balance-based

Risk = % × Balance

  • Simple and stable; unaffected by floating P/L.
  • Excellent for capital preservation and consistent position sizing.
  • Best for: manual or conservative traders prioritizing low drawdown.

2️⃣ Equity-based

Risk = % × Equity

(Equity = Balance + Floating P/L)

  • Fully leverages the compounding effect by dynamically adjusting risk with real-time equity.
  • Generates higher growth potential but also larger drawdowns.
  • Best for: systematic or algorithmic traders with a stable edge.

3️⃣ Average-based

Risk = % × (Balance + DayHighestEquity + DayLowestEquity) / 3

  • Smooths out intraday volatility by averaging key equity levels.
  • Balances growth potential and stability for more consistent compounding.
  • Best for: professional or fund-level traders with precise equity tracking.

4️⃣ Hybrid Dynamic (proposed innovation)

If Equity > Balance → Base = 0.5×Equity + 0.5×Balance

If Equity < Balance → Base = 0.7×Balance + 0.3×Equity

Risk = % × BaseHybrid

  • Automatically adjusts position sizing based on account condition:
    • Increases exposure during winning streaks.
    • Reduces risk in drawdown phases.

  • Combines the safety of balance-based and the efficiency of equity-based compounding.
  • Best for: experienced traders seeking both performance and protection.

Goal and Benefits

Implementing these 4 modes would:

  • Allow users to select a risk model aligned with their trading style;
  • Improve compounding efficiency and risk-adjusted returns;
  • Differentiate ICT Concept Pro with a unique capital management system uncommon in existing EAs.
