MQL5 EA Fails to Retrieve Data from iCustom Indicator (Buffers Return Only Zeros)

I am looking for an expert MQL5 programmer with experience in the following issue:

Problem Description:

I have an MQL5 Expert Advisor (EA) that uses iCustom() to call a custom Order Block indicator. The indicator works correctly when applied manually to a chart, storing and displaying valid buffer values. However, when the EA runs and calls CopyBuffer() , it only retrieves zeros instead of the expected values.

Key Observations:

✅ iCustom() successfully creates the indicator instance (confirmed by logs).
✅ The indicator prints correct buffer values when running manually.
❌ The indicator’s OnCalculate() never runs inside the EA ( MQL_PROGRAM_TYPE is always PROGRAM_INDICATOR ).
❌ The EA's instance of the indicator does not seem to update or execute properly.

What Could Be Wrong?

• The EA might not be correctly launching the indicator instance.
• CopyBuffer() might be failing silently.

What I Need Help With:

• How to ensure the indicator actually runs inside the EA ( PROGRAM_EXPERT ).
• How to make CopyBuffer() retrieve correct values when the EA calls iCustom() .
• Debugging why the indicator buffers return only zeros when used via EA.
