Polna Dmochowska sp.j.
My interest in financial markets began more than 30 years ago. I have been involved in the Forex market since 2008. During this time, I have explored and tested most of the popular technical analysis methods, gradually developing my own approach to interpreting price behavior.
Years of experience have taught me that many analytical tools generate more noise than genuine insight. I strongly prefer simple, logical solutions that help me understand the mechanisms driving financial markets.
**Moving averages, their relationships, deviations, and multi-timeframe configurations** hold a special place in my analytical toolkit. I believe that properly combined moving averages provide an exceptionally clear picture of market geometry, dynamics, and structure — phenomena that I refer to as *ermanometry*.
Despite many years of experience and the development of my own analytical methodology, I do not claim that all my trades are profitable. Losses are a natural part of trading. Holding a losing position for several weeks is not necessarily a mistake, provided it is part of a carefully designed strategy supported by sound money management and risk control.
**The most valuable skill I have developed since 2008 is patience.** Combined with consistency and experience, patience has become the foundation of my approach to the markets.
In my trading strategies, I primarily make entry decisions manually. In certain situations, I use relatively simple Expert Advisors (EAs) to assist with managing open positions.
At the same time, I am working toward fully automated trading. The results of the systems I have developed so far, generating annual returns in the range of 8–15%, do not yet meet my expectations.
On the other hand, I remain highly skeptical of strategies capable of generating 400% returns in just 10 months. Such spectacular results often come with excessive risk and may eventually lead to drawdowns of 50% or even more.
That is why I continuously refine my algorithms, test new solutions, and search for more effective ways to exploit relationships and patterns in financial markets. My goal is not simply to maximize returns, but to find a reasonable balance between profitability, strategy stability, and risk management.
**I do not believe in infallible trading systems. I believe in mathematics, patience, consistency, and the continuous improvement of my skills and analytical methods.**
