The only commodity i trade is gold, Because gold only moves in relation to the strength and weakness of US Dollar strength and therefore can be easily predicted. Only exception to this case is any central bank instability. I don't trust any other commodity as their prices moves based on many unregulated factors

hence i trade on major currency pair with USD common in all pairs, the risk is low compared to other currency pairs,
every country regulates their curency exchange value against dollar and there fore the movement in currency pair of major central banks against the USD will have better control and direction.
average holding time of each trade is less than a day,
currency pairs other than USD are not regulated by any central banks and therefore i stay out of those pairs. Keeping all these a leverage upto 20 percentage is justified and additional leverage is only used in important data releases, where the movement can be predicted more accurately and such positions will be closed within few hours also.
