Explanation of Program Execution Error on August 5, 2026

We are writing to provide a transparent explanation and our sincere apologies regarding the program's failure to participate in the recent gold (XAUUSD) upward move and the erroneous opening of short positions on August 5, 2026.
1. Incident Overview
On August 5, 2026, XAUUSD experienced a clear upward trend. During this period, the program detected multiple buy signals that met our entry conditions and attempted to open long positions. However, all these buy signals were blocked by the Entry Validation Module and failed to execute.
At the same time, due to the same defect, the program incorrectly executed two short positions as a result of the execution anomaly.
2. Why Did the Short Positions Occur?
· The program should have executed long positions, but the Entry Validation Module defect incorrectly blocked the valid buy signals.
· During this process, an anomaly in the order execution module caused the program to mistakenly execute the opposite direction (sell/short), resulting in the two short positions.
· These two short positions were not based on any market analysis or strategy logic, but were a direct consequence of the program defect.
3. Root Cause Analysis
1. Entry Validation Defect: Valid buy signals were incorrectly filtered out by the validation module.
2. Order Execution Anomaly: When a signal was blocked, the program erroneously executed a trade in the reverse direction (short) instead of correctly aborting the order.
4. Remedial Actions Taken
1. The defect has been identified and fixed, and the updated program version has been deployed.
2. The two erroneous short positions have been closed.
3. A full review of all open positions and historical signals has been completed, with no other similar anomalies found.
5. Ongoing Improvements
To prevent such issues from recurring, we have implemented the following measures:
1. Fixed the Entry Validation and Order Execution modules to ensure signals and execution directions are always consistent.
2. Added pre- and post-execution consistency checks — the program will automatically pause and issue alerts if any mismatch is detected.
3. Enhanced position monitoring — any abnormal activity will trigger immediate manual intervention.
4. Timely announcements will be made for all future program updates and anomalies.
