User Manual – Demo & Live Versions (MT5)
1. Introduction
Strict Risk Management (SRM) EA v1.192 is a professional MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor designed for disciplined, structure-based trading with strict risk control. This manual applies to both the Demo and Live versions of the EA.
2. Strategy Overview
SRM EA is based on Break of Structure (BoS) logic combined with ATR-based adaptive risk management. Trades are executed only during favorable market conditions, prioritizing trade quality over frequency.
3. Entry Logic
• Identifies valid Break of Structure (BoS)
• Confirms momentum using ATR expansion
• Executes trades using Buy Stop / Sell Stop orders
• Applies an entry buffer to reduce false breakouts
4. Risk Management & Exit Rules
Risk management is the core foundation of SRM EA.
• ATR-based Stop Loss calculation
• Volatility-adaptive Risk-to-Reward ratio
• Break-even applied at +1.5R
• Profit lock applied at +5R
• No martingale, no grid, no loss averaging
• Internal Stop Loss scaling factor: 0.6
5. Demo vs Live Version Behavior
Demo Version:
• For testing and evaluation only
• Executes trades only on demo accounts
Live Version:
• Executes trades on live accounts
• Real-market execution, slippage, and liquidity apply
• Results depend on broker conditions and market behavior
6. Input Parameters (IMPORTANT)
Users must adjust the Risk Percent (Risk per Trade) parameter as per the account size.
Recommended input settings:
Forex: Risk per trade -1%, ATR-14 , Entry Buffer-10 , Max Spread – 20 ,
Absolute Volume Cap- 5 per 50K USD account.
XAU/USD: Risk per trade -1%, ATR-14 , Entry Buffer-40 , Max Spread – 50 ,
Absolute Volume Cap- 5 per 50K USD account.
7. Account Balance Guidelines
Minimum Balance: $500 .
8. Trading Sessions (GMT)
Recommended:
• London: 07:00 – 11:00
• New York: 12:00 – 16:00
• London–New York overlap
Avoid: 1. Monday- London Session 2. Friday- US session
9. Recommended Symbols & Timeframes
• Preferred symbols: GBPUSD, XAUUSD
• Suggested timeframes: M5 or M15 (best on M5)
