GOLD REAPER has seen some amazing upgrades the last few weeks, making it much more stable and profitable than the older version.
I added several improvements such as these:
- NFP FILTER: Non-Farm Payroll news tends to create high slippage on whipsaw movements. By filtering out these events, we avoid these bad conditions for trading
- “Fake Breakout” filter: when breakouts are rejected soon after the breakout, it is safer to get out of the trades. This reduced drawdown nicely
- Weighted Lots: The EA runs up to 9 different strategies simultaneously. But using weighted lots, the EA will set a lotsize individually for every strategy, so that they balance out nicely. This improved the risk/rewards a great deal!
- "Variable Values" -> this means that the EA's capabilities to automatically adjust to the actual price of Gold has had a big update, and it now the recommended (and default) setting. This will adapt entries and exit to the value of Gold. So if gold is trading at 1000$, the SL for example will be smaller than if gold is trading at 2000$
- "Adjust Lotsize To Variable Values" -> this will make sure that if SL get bigger for example if gold price goes higher, that the lotsize will be adjusted as well (decrease) so that the actual potential max drawdown stays the same throughout all history and future with the same risk settings. As you can see from the screenshot, the new version performed much better with current markets, where Gold has been making new alltime highs a few times.
So this former number 1 EA on MQL5 will soon reach new highs again!

GOLD REAPER has seen some amazing upgrades the last few weeks, making it much more stable and profitable than the older version.
I added several improvements such as these:
- NFP FILTER: Non-Farm Payroll news tends to create high slippage on whipsaw movements. By filtering out these events, we avoid these bad conditions for trading
- “Fake Breakout” filter: when breakouts are rejected soon after the breakout, it is safer to get out of the trades. This reduced drawdown nicely
- Weighted Lots: The EA runs up to 9 different strategies simultaneously. But using weighted lots, the EA will set a lotsize individually for every strategy, so that they balance out nicely. This improved the risk/rewards a great deal!
- "Variable Values" -> this means that the EA's capabilities to automatically adjust to the actual price of Gold has had a big update, and it now the recommended (and default) setting. This will adapt entries and exit to the value of Gold. So if gold is trading at 1000$, the SL for example will be smaller than if gold is trading at 2000$
- "Adjust Lotsize To Variable Values" -> this will make sure that if SL get bigger for example if gold price goes higher, that the lotsize will be adjusted as well (decrease) so that the actual potential max drawdown stays the same throughout all history and future with the same risk settings. As you can see from the screenshot, the new version performed much better with current markets, where Gold has been making new alltime highs a few times.
So this former number 1 EA on MQL5 will soon reach new highs again!
