Ibt ATR 120 Mt4

El sistema IBT-ATR.120 hace uso de dos indicadores, el ATR y el Ratio de Volatilidad para operar diversos activos en M5.

El indicador Average True Range, conocido como ATR por sus siglas en inglés, fue desarrollado por Wilder (1978), junto con otros indicadores como el RSI o el sistema parabólico.

Para definir el rango verdadero (True Range) el autor distingue entre tres situaciones distintas:

-          Primer Rango. Distancia entre el máximo de la vela actual y el mínimo de la vela actual.

-          Segundo Rango. Distancia entre el cierre de la vela pasada y el máximo de la vela actual.

-          Tercer Rango. Distancia entre el cierre de la vela pasada y el mínimo de la vela actual.

Pues bien, aquel rango que tenga un mayor valor, será considerado como el True Range.

Calculado el ATR diario, podemos establecer tres niveles inferiores y superiores. Se demuestra que si el precio supera, inferior o superiormente, la cota de 120% el precio tenderá a continuar con su dirección. Por otro lado, si el precio se encuentra entre la cota 80% y 120% el precio tiende a girar. Esta hipótesis es el fundamento de este sistema.

Por otra parte, se utiliza el indicador Ratio de Volatilidad. En indicador Ratio de Volatilidad se calcula como el cociente entre el 20% ATR en temporalidad diaria y el 1,5xATR en temporalidad de 5 minutos.

Por lo general, podemos tomar un ratio de volatilidad mínimo igual a 2.5, a partir del cual consideraremos un valor del indicador elevado. Ahora bien, debemos realizar un estudio para cada activo para identificar el valor óptimo de este valor mínimo.

El tipo de operación dependerá del patrón dado analizando el conjunto de los indicadores descritos.
