Not every trade can be a win. A choppy markets moving sidewards like recent days produces false breakouts that are difficult to predict.

Yeah! I'm running it in a REAL account (IC Markets Raw Spread and Tickmill PRO). The results are consistent with the backtests. Just make sure to select "Modeling: every tick based on REAL ticks" to get real data from the broker, already considering the real spread, etc.

This is a medium to long term EA. Of course there can be weeks or even months (like January) with little to no profits, but the cumulated results are absolutely AMAZING!

These are the results with 2% risk per trade (aggressive mode - 100% history quality). I know it can sound unrealistic, but if you play it in the visual mode, you see the step by step progression, including some losses in the meantime.

The is is actually GREAT. Very few EAs can survive in the long-term. This is one of them.

Of course there can be losing days or even weeks, but in the medium to long term it will certainly be profitable.

Let the EA run for 1-3 months and you will see (and maybe regret not having started earlier).

Little volatility the days before, maybe on thurthday (Thanksgiving) & friday a strong move in one direction that is reversed on monday, tuesday.

Sells still work well ...

The curve below shows a backtest of only the buys of Outbreak1.4 with minimal optimization from July 2022 on.

Outbreak has about 200 filters for buys, to filter the basic strategy.

In the backtest below the amount of filters is reduced to just 5 basic filters.

The drawdown at the end of the curve shows what happend since 17. okt., when recent drawdown began.

The basic filters couldn't avoid the losses, the other filters neither, as we know from live trading.

What the curve shows is: Drawdowns like we have right now are normal, when that phase is over the curve keeps on rising.

Like many times before, as can be seen in the curve. 

When you look at the history of the signal you can see that the sells have no drawdown at all these days.

Trading only sells since 17. nov. the signal would show now 10% profit instead of 6%.

To give users the possibility to optimize the system a little, next version (coming on sunday) will have new settings that allow de/activating buy or sells

and change the internal optimization to lower levels. For those who think the system is over optimized ;-)

Check this backtest made in IC Markets Raw Spread with REAL TICK DATA in March 2022, with 100% quality history, with auto lot and an aggressive settings of 2% risk per trade. There are moments with more losses than wins, but that's only for a few days. The monthly result is over 60% profit.

If we do the backtest MARCH-APRIL 2022, we clearly notice that the temporary DD meant nothing! Just give time for the EA do its work. I've set an account and will not look at it every hour. :D

Thank you Yuen! It is good to have several accounts to compare. You also started when buys started to fail, all your losses are buys, I hope that period is over now.

Coming version will allow you to have different lotsizes for buy & sell, so after 2 or 3 losses in a row like recently in buys one can set down lotsize for buys and wait until there's profit again. Maybe in a later version I develop an algorithm for that.

But good to see that in a bad phase with even 2% risk (what I consider nearly as high risk, as the EA triggers many trades) the drawdown is small. I think that will be covered fast next weeks. Good trades!
