Hi, I have installed gold high on icmarkets with the 2 digit set file but it did not open the most recent trade as shown in the signal. The logs also do not show any error or anything. May I know how to fix it so that it opens trades like the signal?

backtest the EA for the last month and check if the backtest has the last trades or not.
Hi, I backtested and it has trades on dec 22 2022 but not the most recent one on jan 12 2023. I'm using icmarkets

the settings are in the comments #1 , #2 , and #9.
XAUUSD price = 2000.440 ==> 3 digits chart
XAUUSD price = 2000.44 ==> 2 digits
Gold High can open a maximum of 7 positions in the same direction.
in 900 points loss, the EA will open 2 extra trades, and in 1800 points loss the EA will open 4 extra trades. all those 7 open positions have the same stop loss so all of them will close at the stop loss of the first trade.
the risk will be 2600+(2 * 1700)+(4 * 800) = 9200 points
so the risk will be about $92 per 0.01 lot size in most brokers.
And there are a few reversal point entries.
Each one of those strategies has been optimized based on historical data.

What is the new "special DrawDown control function" all about?
Inputs:
StopNewTradesInDD : if you choose "true" the EA will not open new trades after the "StopNewTradesInHowManyPercentDD" percent drawdown.
StopNewTradesInHowManyPercentDD : the required percentage of drawdown to stop opening new trades.
CloseAllTradesInDD : if you choose "true" the EA will close all the open positions on the account at the "CloseAllInHowManyPercentDD" percent drawdown.
CloseAllInHowManyPercentDD : the required percentage of drawdown to close all the trades.
the "CloseAllTradesInDD" function does not use the magic number and it will close all the open positions even if they are not opened by the EA. So you just need to enable the "CloseAllTradesInDD" function in one of the charts and it will close all the open positions at the "CloseAllInHowManyPercentDD" percent drawdown on all of the charts.
for the "CloseAllTradesInDD" function, your chart's background color should not be "LightCoral" color.
The EA calculates the drawdown based on this formula: drawdown percentage = ((Balance-Equity) / Balance) * 100
backtest it in visual mode to understand it before using it.
controlling the risk is easy with Gold High.
for example, my Gold High S signal is trading with a 0.05 lot size so the maximum risk is about $460; and the current balance of the account is $3034 so the maximum risk will be about 15%
there is a "ChooseEA" input; you can choose the original strategy (Gold High) or the SecondSet.
the SecondSet risks more than the original strategy (Gold High).
the SecondSet risks about $174 per 0.01 lot size in most brokers.
if you want to use the SecondSet do a backtest to make sure it works well on your broker.
