Hi - I have an issue whereby orders are opening - but then don't close when closed on the master:

I also have an issue with pending orders on the master account - it constantly opens then deletes them on the slave ?
What seems to be the issue?

Hi. There is no issue.
1. You are using slave2 mode. In this mode trades are not closed by signal from master. It could be closed only manualy or by tp or sl.
2. If you do not want to copy pending trades, use Copier4Fee Advanced. There is such feature - not copying pending
Hi, if I want to have the copier manage existing positions that it has opened (i.e. close them when the paired position is closed) but not copy any new positions so that I can start to close out a signal that I'm following - can I set the copier "Multiply lot of copied deals by" to 0.0 and that will prevent new positions from being opened? Thanks.
Hi.
No, multiplicator=0 will not help
Use parameter "Do not copy if spread">1
But make sure spread is higher then 1 at that moment. In this case copier will not open new trades but will close old one.

Can I make it "do not copy if spread >" 0? Will this prevent any copy? Because sometimes my broker has spread 0 or 1 so I think "do not copy if spread >" 1 - in that case I may still get copies? But with 0 for that value at least I will get minimal trades copied I think.

Hello,
After restarting my VPS this weekend for maintenance, I relaunched MT4, but all positions were closed at the opening of the markets.
How to avoid this ? (after reboot during the weekend for maintenance) ?
Thanks for your help.

Hi.
Where positions were closed - at master or slave? Who did close them?
Positions closed only to MT4 slave (slave 1), but the positions remained open on the master.
They closed alone at the market opening on sunday evening.

I do not know what happend.
Did you run several master copier with the same Provider name = 1?
this is the capture
Next time try to launch master copier first. It will rewrite info about trades. Then launch salve copier. In this way it should not close trades.

Hi i have a issue i think,i put a master on 1 account and 1 slave on same account, and another 2 slave in 2 other account, but it copi only 1 order from master account it is normal?
1. Meta Trader terminal have to be installed by its setup.exe file. Do not copy terminals by copying its directory.
2. You must Login all terminals to mql5 community. Download or buy Copier from the Market. Do not copy Copier directly by copy/paste.
3. At slave account there are no such trading instruments like on master account. Check their presence in the Market watch (see pic.).
4. At slave and masters accounts trading instruments have different prefixes and/or suffixes. Set them using congruent parameters.
5. Opening deals by automated systems is not allowed by the broker at slave account.
6. Auto trading is off (see pic.).
7. Live trading is not allowed. After runing copier press F7>Common tab (see pic.).
8. Not enough money at slave account.
9. Check List event. Copier will inform you about any mistakes you have made.
Example on master account 1 order 0.01 lot will opened,on same account the slave open a 0.02 lot and is ok,Now i have 2 order on master account and in other slave i put copi multiplier 3 and have 1 order 0.03.is it normal ?i think it should copi 1 deal with 0.03 and 1 with 0.06 lot right or am i wrong?thanks in advance
Master copier does not send already copied trades. If you have a look at master chart you will see info about how many trades it sent. It should be onlI
yes is only 1 deal copied - ok if you say it is normal ,so i know what multiplier i have to use thanks.
Hi Vladimir,
sorry, if this question has already been asked:
What would be the best practice to change the multiplier value (2->3) if the copier is running on mql vps?
I've tried it once and as a result the copier closed all open orders and copied them again.
Best Regards,
Catharina
