Sorry for the delayed Jakiro August performance due to some technical issue on myfxbook.com. Jakiro only managed to get a 2.96% return for August with an average holding time of 2.02 days. The holding time is always longer compared with Ophiuchus and Limitless as it is using a safer approach. After running Jakiro since Jun 2021, now we can see the compounding effect of Jakiro as you can see the average monthly used to be around 2-4% and now grown to 6-10%. 

For normal investment or trading, normally it took years or decades to see or feel the compounding effect. Why we can see the compounding effect so quickly in Jakiro? The key is the trading timeframe and frequency of trading. Normal stocks are trading on a daily chart and it is quite unlikely to trade more than 10 trades per day. Jakiro is trading at 1 minutes chart and it has more than dozen of trades every day. Hence, you might feel the return is slow on Jakiro at the early stage but it will accelerate after some time.

Unfortunately, Jakiro EA hit margin call on 27 Apr after running well and profitable consecutively for 9 months. We understand that this is definitely a painful experience for all our Jakiro clients. However, as we always highlight to all our clients, all the martingale strategy always has a risk of a margin call. Jakiro EA was designed to lower the risk but it doesn't mean that it won't happen. It is sad to see the risk materialize.


As we explained before, normally a Martingale strategy will hit margin call due to a series of events. For this round, US is having 40 years' high inflation while the market is expecting US Fed to hike the rate at a speed that we never saw in a few decades. To make the matter worst, Russia's decision to stop gas supply to Europe has caused EUR to be very weak. This news is the breaking point that caused Jakiro EA to hit margin call. That is also the moment that the EURUSD breaks below the low of the Covid Outbreak as per the chart here.

However, we still have faith in Jakiro EA and we will top up our account and start it again tomorrow. Hopefully, this round can last for many years. No one knows whether the same situation will happen again or not. Hence, we advise all our clients to consider it carefully before making a decision on the next step.
