Hi, when will the manual be updated with the new functionality?

Hello, I'm working on this, I think in 3 days.

Sebastian Dietrich
so far it is exactly the right EA I was looking for, thank you very much.

Version 2.76 and 2.75, not sure if 2.8+ has still the same issue:
Where are the settings stored? I have the issue/phenomenon that when I configure settings via Expert Properties Inputs, load the EA onto the chart, and then change the Inputs again, they are NOT always applied. When I check the settings via the gear icon, the old settings are still active. When I check the settings of open trades via MG, the old settings are still active. If I close all open trades, save the new settings as a template, close the chart, restart the terminal, open a new chart, and load the template, the old settings are active in the GUI again. In the Input settings, the new "correct" settings are displayed.

I have to manually correct the settings via the gear icon and, if there are open trades, via MG in each individual trade, even though the EA prop. inputs are correct. This is time-consuming when making changes.

Hello,

the input parameters are used only for the strategy tester, since the strategy tester does not support working with the panel.

In all other cases, focus on the settings that you enter in the panel, since it is with these settings that the panel works.

That is, the settings that you enter into the panel always take precedence over the input settings.

Please add the option of 'Custom Grid step' in addition to 'fixed grid step' by which we have control on the grid steps. for exmple I like to set first 3 grid step on 350 and the next ones on 450. whith current verion I can not do that.

Will it possible for you to add a news filters to delay the grid? Thanks

Hello, unfortunately not.

Airo Taz

Will it be possible for you to add a hedge order for SL?

Let's say we do buys with 5 steps. I want the EA to calculate all the lots and instead of a hard SL, we do a hedge (without grid).

This is helpful for wicks that can hit hard SL which makes it hard to recover this Grids.

There are no plans for such a feature.

Hi Alfiya

would it be possible to have something like this in the Grid Manual

I would also gladly buy the TradePanel and combine it using the same magic number, if that is possible.

I want to be able to partly close my Grid if that is possible.

For example, when I am long and we get a pullback, let's say 5 orders get filled and the market goes up again. We get out at XX pips or our trail starts, and once hit, it closes everything.

But in many cases, the market goes back to the old high and then continues. So, I would like to have the option to close it partly.

I mostly trade Gold and use a trailing stop at 240 pips and sometimes at 320 pips, depending on how deep I am in the grid.

It would be nice if that can be automated so that TP1 is at 240 pips for 1/3, TP2 is at 320 pips 2/3, and let the rest run and close at, for example, the original TP of 1000 pips.

Additionally, set the SL to break even once TP2 is closed.

If I can do that together with the TradePanel, that's okay, I'll buy that one.

I can just open a second chart, set it to the same magic number, but it has to work from the break-even line that the Grid Manual EA uses.

Hope you understand my question.

Keep up the great work.

Regards,

Gert

Hello, at the moment I do not plan to add new functionality to this product. I may add it in the future, but I can't promise.

There are also plans to add the ability to open a grid of orders in the Trade Panel, so if you have a Trade Panel, then most likely you will open the grid from it. But this is only in the plans.

Thank you for choosing our product.

Dear Alfyia

Could you please make the "Close on loss" and "Close on profit" as the main input setting parameters not as only interface panel?

Hello, I will write this down, if in the future I will update the Grid Manual, I will try to add it.

Zaid A

Can you add digit rounding options for orders after normal calculations? like 1 and 2 digit rounding such as 1.28100 > 1.28200 > 1.28300 but must place order higher/lower than previous order.

Hello, the idea is interesting, but I think I will not add it, I do not have plans to add new functionality to this product yet.

Hi,

I need to use it on strategy tester but as just a few button works I can't for instance close profit orders, is there a workaround for this?

Thanks,

Hello, unfortunately no. Everything that the strategy tester supports is already implemented in the program.

How can I easily and quickly change the settings on multiple charts? I have 20 charts open and need to change a parameter on all of them. Is there a way to do this more efficiently without having to edit each chart individually?
