No, Period is the only setting available.

the default setting is already good. its up to the user to adjust the setting based on his/her system

Please use the default setting of period  =3. no need to change unless you have back tested and found a better setting yourself.

you can use it in a multi timeframe approach like most of my clients do.

Ex. look for trend on daily timeframe > Check trend laser color

go to smaller timeframe like M15 or H1 and trade the trend laser signal in the direction of the bigger timeframe.

In this scenario what action could be taken:

M30: YELLOW LINE SHOWING UP

M15: RED LINE SHOWING UP

after an Hour,

M30: RED LINE SHOWING UP & also,  M15: RED LINE SHOWING UP;

 should this be considered as a valid entry? 

Does this scenario have to be tested when there is a buy or sell signal. Also, the multiple timeframe for Stocks and Commodity will vary right? Anybody in this forum kindly guide as am a newbie in the market!

This is just an example how to use in a multi-timeframe approach, there a lots of ways to trade this indicator

Example: Daily timeframe, the trend laser is color Blue. Means we are uptrend. only look to buy is smaller timeframes

We go to a smaller time frame like H1 or M15 and wait for a buy signal to get a good entry after a sell-off.

It works in all instruments, you can test them on demo. just download histrionic data of that instrument if available on your broker

what do you mean? there are alerts when the indicator will give signals. please check settings.

it gives popup, email and push alerts

Hi,

The one you boxed are not exits. They are the maximum profit per signal generated. There is no alert for it because its a live calculation, the value can change per bar if profit increases. it will only fix on the opposite signal. So the opposite signal can be the exit.

The function of the calculation of max profit per signal is to be able to calculate the stats of all signals to generate Average profit and minimum move value to be used as SL ant TP for trend trading or scalping

right now i am testing Pipfinite Trendlaser on some Pairs, H1 Timeframe. I use Period = 3

I just got a BUY Signal on USD/JPY (H1).

I moved my mouse exactly over the green UP-arrow and Metatrader shows me the following "message":

"'Trend Laser_3, Time: 2015.05.07  16:00, Buy Signal: 119.082"

I IMMEDIATELY entered the trade. Here is my entry point: 119.817

QUESTION:

There are 73,5 Pips difference between the BUY Signal and my entry point, although i entered the trade IMMEDIATELY after the signal.

How is this possible? Are the signals delayed? Or do i understand something wrong?
