A great trade turned into nothing because of the news. Ha ha, classic!

In the settings there are parameters that you yourself can configure every day:

FinishTradeHour = 17; Pending orders deletion time (UTC 0), hours. Corrected by the function: TimeBroker, (UTC+ ).

FinishTradeMinute = 59; Pending orders deletion time (UTC 0), minutes.

CloseAllHour = 19; Open orders closing time (UTC 0), hours. Corrected by the function: TimeBroker, (UTC+ ).

After trying Prado for about 2 years, I’m convinced that it’s an expert that has a potential.

But I’m afraid that it’s profitability will not last too much. Indeed, many traders are currently using Prado and it might soon make all of them lose because they buy and sell at the same time.

I have tried to change the expert parameters so it open orders at times different from the standard setting but with no success.

So, I’m back to you to ask which parameter I must change to make the expert trade in times different from other traders.

Can anything done about that,  beside the trailing SL application ? 

The market behaves differently every day. It's impossible to adapt to everything. Our goal is to see profit at the end of the year every year.

I rechecked all the settings and I think that on all the tests I carried out I did not find a setting that really allow to change the time of entry to the market.

Is it possible to add a setting that insert a gap in the entry or opening price. This gap can be positive or negative and can be calculated in pip or as a multiplier of daily ATR.

Otherwise, I think that this expert might not stay profitable in the future given the number of people using it.

This gap proposal can also help in reducing the drawdown and reduce the overall risk of the expert strategy because most of trades are opened in the same time with the same price.

There is a function "OrderCoefLevel = 0.0;" - allows you to shift the order placement price.

I've been using Prado and I note that it is very good entering the market, but not so good exiting it.

Almost all  trades turns into positive floating, but 70% of them closes in loss.   After positive floating the market changes direction, but the EA doesn't close the trades until too late when trades are in loss.

Is there a parameter that function as trailing stop, so the EA can secure profit?

Trailing stop is controlled by the following settings:

TralTF = PERIOD_H1; Coefficient affecting the Trailing stop. Period of bars for trailing stop. Works in conjunction with the function: TralCoef.

TralCoef = 2; Coefficient affecting the Trailing stop. Number of the bar, on the extremum of which the stop loss moves. Works in conjunction with the function: TralTF.

BoomCoef = 0.03; Coefficient affecting the Trailing stop. The function controls the stop loss in the breakeven area. Works in conjunction with the functions: BoomMinDistCoef, BoomMaxPrc, TralBoomStep.

BoomMinDistCoef = 0.4; Coefficient affecting the Trailing stop. The function moves the stop loss to the no-loss area. Works in conjunction with the functions: BoomCoef, BoomMaxPrc, TralBoomStep.

BoomMaxPrc = 99; Coefficient affecting the Trailing stop. The maximum approximation of the stop loss to the market price. Measured in%. Works in conjunction with the functions: BoomCoef, BoomMinDistCoef, TralBoomStep.

Tral BoomStep = 20; Trailing stop step. Works together with functions: BoomCoef, BoomMinDistCoef, BoomMaxPrc. Some brokers do not allow you to change the stop loss level by less than 20 pips.

I am new to this. Am I suppose to change the MAX spread in the settings from 30 to any number between 0-5 ?

I see that EA is not opening any trades. Is this normal?

My second question is.... Does it depend where are you or your broker located? Are we required to change any Time Zone settings?
