I am unable to change my rating which is a shame.  This ea will make you a small number of wins and then make a big loss.  You will lose money using it.

Арендовал советника Tick Hamster на месяц. Счёт Roboforex ECN. Советник совершает некоторое количество прибыльных сделок с крошечным профитом, одновременно тянет штук 10-12 убыточных сделок, пытаясь их осреднить. Проблема в том, что процесс вывода убыточных сделок в плюс затягивается, swap ежедневно приносит убыток и отттягивает всё дальше линию безубытка по набранным осредняющим позициям. В конечном итоге за месяц аренды на полностью автоматической торговле счёт оказался в нуле, т.к. убыток по десятку оставшихся убыточных позиций покрыл профит по закрытым прибыльным позициям. Не могу рекомендовать данный советник. Акцент в нём сделан на то, чтобы в статистике был высокий процент прибыльных сделок с мизерным профитом. Реальный результат: Депозит 5000USD, профит по закрытым позициям 185USD, убыток по незакрытым позициям 165USD. Символический профит в 20 долларов нельзя считать успехом, так как аренда закончилась, а 12 зависших убыточных ордеров теперь надо как-то самому выводить в плюс.

The EA works great so you must not be following the money management rules the developer has given. You can't fund an account with $50.00 on a 1:2000 leveraged account and set the lot size to .1 and expect your account not to blow up. Use common sense, your first rule in trading should be risk management.

Also it also says you need to run this on a VPS which I highly doubt most of you are.

To everyone else, give this EA a try. For $10 they let you use it for a month and then come to your own conclusion.

What is your latency on the VPS server you have it installed on? And what lot size are you using?

I use my home personal server.  My ping is up to about 100 ms.  This is enough for an adviser.

Regarding the lot:

• I use high risk and use 0.01 lots for $ 100
• I use a high risk and use 0.03-0.05 lots for 300 $

This is risky. But I test systems in extreme conditions.

I am testing Hamster EA at two Demo acconts-Blade with commssion and standard. The blade account often opens a lot of trades, but the standard account does not work any trades for 3 days. Attached please find 2 log files and screen shot. Please let me know why EA does not work.

Why are 2 identical advisors working on 2 identical terminals in different ways?

The question is logical, but because our expert's trading strategy is rather complicated and the main logic of the advisor's work is catching sharp movements and market spread, our advisor can not trade at the same terminal at the same time.

There are many reasons: The speed of quotes, even on 1 computer and 2 terminals = different. The time of receipt of quotations is also different.

Why does the advisor get different results from different companies?

Each company has its terms of trade. Different spread, swap, commission, stop levels, margin requirements, contract specifications. Different trading servers, so different quotes. Different rates of quotations.

Therefore, the advisor can receive different results. One thing I can say is that the Advisor has the whole algorithm. The code is one. The algorithm is one. The signals are the same. Therefore, 1 advisor works on all terminals according to the same logic.

If in one company you caught a stop loss, and on the second broker you have a plus - Means the terms of trade were different. This is normal.

The advisor works based on the spread and the rate of quotations.

I installed an advisor yesterday, but he did not open any positions in a day.

First of all, you need to find out why the advisor does not open positions. The square in our EAPADPRO panel should be green. If it is red, then you did not allow the EA to trade. Or it is forbidden in your account to open positions as an advisor. Also, I recommend that you look into the Expert Advisor's log on the EXPERTS tab - there, the EA can write an error that he could not make a deal. Perhaps you have specified the wrong type of fill or the expiration of the order, indicated the wrong amount or incorrect stop orders (StopLoss TakeProfit)

Also, the EA can ignore new signals if the drawdown on your account is higher than 10%. If the drawdown on your account is more than 10%, then the advisor ignores the new signals.

A trading system is a set of rules. Rules in the advisor are code. Each code is executed in a thread.

To open a position, you need to get a signal. A signal appears when a series of factors coincide and give one direction for the position.

If one rule is not met, then the advisor can not open the position.
