Do you think that in markets where the price can change in a split second, placing orders should be as simple as possible? In Metatrader, each time you want to open an order, you have to open a window where you enter the opening price, stop loss and take profit, as well as the trade size. In trading the financial markets, capital management is essential to maintain your initial deposit and multiply it. So, when you want to place an order, you probably wonder how big a trade you should open? What percentage of your deposit should you risk on this single trade? How much can you profit from this trade and what is the profit to risk ratio? Before you set the trade size, you do the necessary calculations to get an answer to the question of what the trade size should be.

Imagine that you have a tool that does all this automatically. You open a chart, make a market analysis and mark with horizontal lines the entry point, defence point (stop loss) and target (take profit), and at the end you define the level of risk, e.g. as a % of available capital, that you are able to bear in this transaction, and the program at this point provides:

the acceptable transaction size for the defined risk and stop loss size
Stop Loss and Take Profit values in pips, points and account currency
risk to reward ratio

Now all that remains is to click the appropriate button on the panel to open the trade.

If you are a scalper and need to quickly open and close trades without setting defenses or targets, then you have everything at your fingertips in the Trade Manager panel, where you can define fixed order parameters and quickly open them by clicking the 'Buy' or 'Sell' button.

Closing or deleting orders is also done directly from the Trade Manager panel, where you can close everything with one button, or select a specific type of pending order, or close only profitable or loss-making trades.

Another problem with forex trading is trade management. You have probably encountered a situation where you stepped away from the screen for a moment and the market made a sudden move. If you had been at your computer at the time, you would have been able to gain a lot more by reacting quickly enough.

In this situation, the best solution is to set up a robot to control your trades 24 hours a day. In Trade Manager you have the following functions for managing your positions:

automatic break even - the program will protect your trade from loss when it reaches minimum profit
trailing stop - as your trade gains, the program secures another portion of the profits
partial closes - as the price moves in the right direction and your trade reaches further intermediate targets, the program will start to realise profits by closing further parts of the trade
one-cancels-the-other order (OCO) - you can set up opposite pending trades, e.g. expecting the price to break out of a consolidation. If one of these is activated, the program will automatically cancel the other trade.

By using the Trade Manager in your day-to-day trading you are always aware of the risks you are taking, and you keep your trades and your account under control at all times.

I particuarly love the ability to have the opening level adjust automatically to price, with a pinned SL level, and then watch the potential target level automatically adjust.. really helps to visualise whether I can hit my TP before hitting higher timeframe resistance or not. Not only this trade manager is the best (and I try many, trust me) but the customer support is top notch! I have issues making run the EA, Denis was there from the beginning and never gave up (after a dozen of exchange with screenshots and videos) until it perfectly works. Where else can you find that kind of service in this industry ? I recently purchased the Forex Trade Manager for both MT4 and MT5, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. After spending nearly 6 months searching for a solution and even attempting to develop my own, this product blows everything out of the water. It's complete, reliable, and incredibly user-friendly. It's the only trade manager on the market that meets all my needs, especially with its automatic lot split detection and control over unlimited lots based on rates and symbol. I initially bought the MT5 version and thoroughly tested it. It met and far exceeded every single one of my requirements, which led me to purchase the MT4 version as well. I am completely satisfied with both. Originally, I planned to use this just for lot splits, but as I tested it, I found it to be very comprehensive and a full suite. This product deserves no less than 5 stars, I have been using the mt4 version for over a year and now i have purchased the MT5 version, confused by the previous review, i have had no issues with the software, customer service is fast and great, honestly if you need help to manage trades this is the software you need, add trades from your phone and you can set BE from your pc/laptop, trailing/break even/partial profits are all brilliant, Honestly make your trading journey simple and stress free, i have tried other trade managers and this is by far the best i have used. If i was to start trading from scratch this would be the 1st thing i would purchase. Thank you to the developers for all the work and effort they have put in to make this a god send tool!!!!! BTW this goes for both mt4 and mt5 versions!!!!

Hello, I hate to do this, but I need to do it for integrity sake. I've used the mt4 version for over a year and it's perfect. I had to switch to mt5, and I purchased this mt5 version. IT DOES NOT WORK -- the menu is glitchy, etc. I contacted the author and he told me that other people were also having the same issues. As such, I cannot use it. I contacted mql5 support, but they don't care at all, and they simply so "no refunds; contact the author." So, I basically am cheated and I feel resentful. This is too bad, because the author has always been wonderful with me in regards to all communication over the last year with the old product. He is the one, in fact, who told me to reach out to mql5 directly for a refund because he was not able to do it. Bittersweet. I cannot recommend the mt5 product. And I'm also angry that customer service here at mql5 does NOT care at ALL about even legitimate complaints.

I understand your frustration, but it is not a reason to attack and accuse us, especially since the issue lies not with Trade Manager but rather with the usage of MetaTrader by users in the United States. Your accusations regarding Trade Manager require some clarification. Firstly, the glitch with the panel was caused by incorrect handling of graphic objects on the chart by MT5 build 4230, which was quickly corrected by the platform's authors. It was simply a matter of installing version MT5 build 4232 what I informed you about. For those interested, more details can be found on the forum here: https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/462836/page5#comment_52717114. I am unsure if you performed this update, as in your next message, you informed me that you could no longer use MetaTrader because you are a resident of the United States. As we know, recent legal changes have made it so that not everyone can use MT4/MT5. Consequently, you asked for a refund. Since the transaction was made through the mql5 market, I recommended that you contact them to cancel the transaction. If they do not cancel it, I incur the costs of commissions and taxes. To summarize, TRADE MANAGER MT5 WORKS CORRECTLY JUST LIKE TRADE MANAGER MT4. The only issue is the unavailability of MT4/MT5 for traders in the US (mainly prop trading).
