This indicator is great, thanks for that.

Just one question based based on attached picture. On the indicated points, it will be a "Buy", but in this example, the prices began going down. What else can we look to ensure that the indicator will give false indication.

As can be seen, all the other instances the indicator worked 100%.

Usually when the market goes below the most recent lower low, you are suppose to stop the trade or either recover with hedging technique.(Hedge only If you know the market is going to be volatile)

Some tiny wrong signals are fine as long as your win rate is good and your profits are much larger than losses.

The first signal after the trend change is the strongest and most positive ones. You can decide lot management and money management on that factor as well :)

There isn't a limit.You can add it yourself too if you need more. The source file is attached in the comment.

Yes its possible to add alert function in dashboard using iCustom function.

You can hire any freelancer to code EA/Alert/Dashboard using iCustom function according to your needs.

Just sat here for literally less than an hour - and it's the first time I've used your indicator - just made over US$500 net after commissions.

The open of the London session and New York session (which I just traded) seems to be a good time. I used the trend of the H4 & H1 charts (both had to match), and only took trades on the M5 that went with the trend once your conditions were met. Wow!!

Although my indicator works great, but its still based on past price and volume. Its based on statistics and maths. Sometimes fundamentals trumps the technical. (Google eurchf 15th Jan ,2015 for example).

Do keep eye on what central banks are saying. That usually avoids extreme events :)

Thank you for your words. Good words always motivate me to do better :)


A better way to get more precise and accurate entry would be finding the trend direction on bigger timeframe and trying to time it on smaller timeframe.

I always say this, Bigger time-frames dictates the direction of the trend. Smaller time-frames form retracements and reversals.

This is one way to do it. :)

You can also use market outlook by myfxbook in your analysis.
(Its free, No need to buy their subscription, Only current position size matter. We never take past sentiment into account in our decision. We have scalping indicator pro to analyse the past.)


The way you should use it is by finding extreme difference between longs and shorts.

For example, if USDJPY has 90% of the positions long and 10% short. USDJPY will most likely fall.
You can use this information to position yourself in the market using scalping indicator pro.
Also remember, You should pick pairs on market outlook with high popularity and good sample size(Large number of lots).

Market outlook data doesn't changes quickly unless there's any incoming news. So use market outlook along with SIP during no big news event.

Also is important to keep eyes on news on fundamentals. Following only central banks and trying to find probability that interest rates will go up or not will itself make your accuracy over 90%.

My indicator might provide you a slight edge as it helps easier to read the chart and detect oversold areas in uptrend and overbought areas in downtrend, however its still based on past price and past volume.

What it gives you is a statistical advantage. That's about it.

Fundamentals and news don't care much about past. Pure technical trading just isn't right. It can work, but it has more gambling approach. Professional traders do not trade this way.

And yes there's difference between professional traders and retail traders. Professional traders usually work in hedge funds and banks, retail traders trade with their own money. :)

Good money management and lot management too can help you turn profitable.

If i were to backtest this indicator manually with the dashboard, will the dashboard able to provide the data or trends during backtest or the dashboard can only provide data during realtime?

and as what someone asked , how do you insert alarm for 

1. signal line is crossing the trend line up

2. signal line is crossing the trend line down

I will look into launching a new dashboard with alarms. That is currently on my todo list.

Hey! I was just reading thorugh the comments when I saw your post. If you look at the attachement you can see that the price action failed to make higher highs before your failing buy signal. So if you want to be strict you can use simple trend wave pattern to filter out trades as well. I only take buy trades when I see a clear higher higs and higher lows wave pattern. :)
