For optimal memory consumption in your MT5 terminal I recommend you to set Max bars in chart to 5000 or less. Please see the screenshot below.

Hi jan.

I rented your MA MT5 cross. He alerted me for a week but without properly filtering the RSi. Now he is no longer alerting me. By removing the filter, it starts again to alert.

An idea ?

When I select True for "Alert at triple MA" the panel on the garphic disappears and I do not receive any alert.
The panel on the graph disappears.
I use graphics in M1.
Maybe I'm using the settings wrong?

i recently bought this indicator. I like it so far. But i don't get how RSI filtering works.

What happens, if i enable "Enable RSI filter" but disable "Signal only when RSI is between the buy and sell level"? Does it allow alerting only at RSI <30 or >70, maybe?

If i enable only "Enable RSI filter" or both RSI options "Enable RSI filter" and "Signal only when RSI is between the buy and sell level" i never got any alerts saying: RSI something - just MA and MACD crosses etc.

Can you describe in a few words how RSI is related to MA results logically, please?

Hi Markus,

If you enable the RSI filter but leave 'Signal only when...' to False then whenever there is a MA cross or MA touch buy signal, the current RSI value must be >= the value you have set in the 'RSI buy level' parameter (= up trend). The opposite goes for sell signals. The current RSI value must be <= the value you have set in the 'RSI sell level' parameter (= down trend).

If you enable both options ('Enable RSI filter' must be set to True if you would like to also use 'Signal only when...') then the alert will come only if the current RSI value is between the both RSI values.

The logic is simply based on that RSI must be above for instance 50 for up trend and below 50 for down trend. I added this option a couple of years ago on request by several customers. I am not using it myself though.

I totally ignored the word "between" in 2nd RSI option. I was thinking, "Signal only when..." will enable both RSI buy & sell levels. What a awkward mistake...

Hello Jan,

So I rented the indicator, I would like to know the best RSI setting for my strategy which is a cross of the 8 EMA (Fast) over the 34 EMA (Slow) and both over the 200 SMA for a buy signal while the opposite for a sell signal. I want to use the RSI filter but will like to know the best settings for best results, cause when I set the RSI oversold to 30 and overbought to 70 I didn't get any signals or pair showing on the dashboard. Kindly Assist.
