Hello just got the EA too im working with the set PropFirmCombo run a backtest for this month you will se how it is performing, I currently have 8 orders all of them sell 4,500 with last tp at 4,300.  what i think is that price needs to go down to make a range on top for some strategies start marking buy orders thats what i think, but lets way for @Wim Schrynemakers to answer our questions. 


Note: There is a gap in 4,600 that havent close yet so lets wait for the develloper answers.

I am using GoldPhantom_Propfirm.set for my Prop challenge.

I bought the EA yesterday, and then ...the EA opened very strange limit orders (i guess those are the strategies).

Wondering, Gold, at price 5000+, why orders (SELLs) are 4500 and even have ONE order at 3200???? (total orders 12, one of those are 3267 as target?!?).

Is this normal? Is this supposed to hit at some point or it is something/somewhere broken? I can't imagine this is real trading EA, please elaborate.

keep in mind that the EA trades breakouts of support and resistance levels.  Gold has been going up in a straight line for days.  so there are no real support/resistance levels around current price.  when market structure changes a bit, more pending orders will appear

yes, because gold is trading around 5000, so even at 0,01lots the risk is now a lot more then when gold was at 2000

Hi, I purchased Gold Phantom yesterday (it's my first bot so any newby tips would be appreciated). 
Can you suggest a good VPS to start off on? Unfortunately, having moved to New Zealand I'm stuck trading on Blackbull (no reliable offshore brokerage accepts NZ residents as their laws are very strict and I don't have any other international bank accounts), they do offer an in-house VPS but after doing some research I'm not so sure its the right one...

Use the paid VPS service built in to MT5 through MQL5. $US15 per month and it doesn't take up another activation! I am in Australia with ICMarkets and this is the only VPS solution I use. Its one subscription per account, but you can run multiple EAs on a single account and sync it. Just watch a few tutorials on how to use it. Once it activates on the MQL5 VPS, it will deactivate on your local PC. If you need to change any values, you just change it on your local PC, then enable "algo trading", then "Migrate all" from the VPS tab and you are done.

I load the live account settings from the set files with 1 hour time frame. Is there anything do I need to do with this EA. Please give me a suggestion about the settings of the EA.

Patience is key in trading.

The EA will place better pending orders once the market structure has changed.


the Gold Market has seen a straight line up for a long period.  there are no real support levels in the area.

check the journal and the expert tab both.  see if you see more information


try setting "set SL/TP After Entry" to true

My broker quotes XAUUSD around 4,700–4,800 (CFD gold).

The EA places pending orders and SL/TP at incorrect distances,
which suggests it does not correctly handle non-standard
gold pricing or tick-size calculations on FBS.

Could you please confirm:
1) Does the EA support FBS XAUUSD CFD pricing?
2) Is there a setting or update to fix this?
3) If not supported, what is the recommended solution or refund procedure?

the support and resistance levels need to "cool down" a bit.  Gold is moving like crazy, so no real levels in the area currently.  that will change when market stabilizes. no worries

I am wondering if all the buy stops and sell stops from the previous day are supposed to clear daily.  It seems that its just adding more each day. Is this intended?

yes, that is normal.  Each strategy can have multiple pending orders, but they are at different levels.


Also, because I get the question a lot about the current location of the pending orders: market made some big moves up and down, so the real support and resistsance levels are still a bit further away. which make the pending orders look located at a strange location.  But as soon as the market moves narrows more (which they will soon), the pending orders will move to levels much closer the the actual price.

So here we can see that the levels are quite far currently.  but Gold is slowing down, so levels should start forming closer by soon.  and then we get a lot more trades
