Hi, It's quite unclear to me how, based on my recommended settings, such a result is possible—making a profit of 20.32 with a lot size of 0.01?
Could you please provide the following information to make it easier to compare:
1. Which broker?
2. 2-number decimal or 3-number decimal?
3. Which account currency?
4. Which account type: RAW, Standard, Demo, Cent Account, etc.?
5. Your recommended settings, if applicable. Stop loss of and a take profit, ...
6. Are you using a Martingale strategy?

---------------------
I'm currently testing several settings, in addition to the ones recommended to me, to have a better comparison.
1. My broker is ICM.
2. So, 2-number decimal?
3. Account currency: EUR
4. Account type: RAW and Standard. The Standard account was recommended to me because of the commission. The commission plays a minor role in my RAW accounts, for example, at a lot size of 0.01 with a commission of 4 cents. On the RAW account with "Commission Reduction," the commission is quite low.
5. Settings: I received two decimal number options from the seller, including a stop loss of 500 and a take profit of 300. I'm also testing other settings of my own.
6. Martingale: I don't use a Martingale strategy; it's too risky for me, and it doesn't work well in backtesting.
This account from the seller appears to be without a Martingale:
NOVA GOLD X 5Min
Account Number: 253183735

One profit doesn't make a summer. Therefore, I'm still testing a lot. My trades are very volatile, but so far, it's not profitable for me. The current range is still acceptable. The timeframe is still quite short to make any reasonable statements. I'll do more analysis this weekend.

This morning, the results seem to be somewhat better so far, but I don't yet know the overall picture. RAW-Account. As I said, the evaluation period is still too short.

>It's quite unclear to me how, based on my recommended settings, such a result is possible—making a profit of 20.32

Yes, I feel the same, usually Nova Gold X aims to obtain 300 - 400 pips only for 3 decimal broker (like Exness), only 3 or 4 USD price increase of underlying asset XAU, denominated by USD. If you set the lot at 0.01 per trade, if the trade wins you get only $3, If you lose then $5 will be gone only. not $20+. Is the screenshot manipulated?

It will never produce that much profit/loss wiht 0.1 lot, unless the user of EA intentionally drags the TP line.

>This account from the seller appears to be without a Martingale:
Just check the trade history, locate the consecutive loss, where the balance is recorded as negative value is listed consecutively,
Then check the number of lot. If it increases like 0.01 -> 0.01 -> 0.03 -> 0.06 - 0.13, then it uses the Martingale. It's called recovery system in the EA.

I demo-ed with this recovery system off, then the balance was very flat, no big drawdown, but not big increase. Based on the win rate and TP/SL, if you trade 0.01 per trade, this system has the expected return aount +0.05 USD, every 1 trade. So the balance will increase very slowly when Martingale is Off.

It could still make sense, if your budget is quite big such as millions of dollars, you will still get reasonable return, such as a few hundred dollars a day. If you use the Maringale then your balance could grow much quicker, but the risk of bankrupt is also high.

Profit can depend on the account currency.

NOVA GOLD X 5Min

Select XAUUSD, then there are only lots of 0.01, except for the first one which is 0.05.

Please note that all four accounts listed by the seller are cent accounts (USC).

Regarding my current live results on XAUUSD:
My broker is ICM, and the recommended settings are a 5-minute timeframe with a lot size of 0.01 and a spread of 16.

My results, based on data from January 5, 2026, to the present, are as follows:
1. VPS Server 1, RAW account type with "Commission Reduction," configured spread XX: +€30.88
2. VPS Server 2, Standard account type with "Spread Reduction," configured spread 16: +€2.59

My assessment of my results so far:
The timeframe is too short to identify a clear trend. My results might also be dependent on the VPS server; I wouldn't rule it out. Therefore, I'm unsure if the account type plays such a significant role. It's true that Standard accounts operate with a higher spread than RAW accounts and may not reach the take-profit level. How much the commission affects profit on RAW accounts is something everyone would have to assess for themselves. For me, it's 4 cents on a 0.01 lot, which I consider negligible.

Live results aren't reproducible for me in backtesting, whether ticks or actual ticks. With ticks, you could set a higher virtual delay to reduce the profits to the real ones, but that doesn't affect the number of trades.

Let's see what the next week or two brings...

WiWaWi
This results are without Martingale !
WiWaWi

Please note that I configured a different spread (XX) on the RAW account and, as mentioned, there may have been temporary problems on the standard account; I cannot rule this out.

Therefore, I will update my results for the broker ICM in 1-2 weeks.

I bought your product. How do I get the corresponding set files as well as information and descriptions about the product.

Every broker's test will be different. It's different. After all, it's Martin, and the recovery procedure opening surgery is very scary. The $5 stop loss with three or four stops is very risky. There is a risk of bursting the position. After all, it is another kind of Martin, and it is difficult to make a profit continuously.

Hi again, trading friends. First, I used a real account for the trials. Here come the results from my first trading week with Nova Gold X, a bot that all the reviewing members have given five stars, including me. The bot supports two trading pairs: gold and bitcoin. I have only been using the bot since the 31st of December. The very first day gave 112.01 euros, gold 101.95, and bitcoin 10.06. At that moment, I jumped up, gave the bot five stars, and left a good comment (see 1st of January 2026). An excellent EA, I thought, giving so much return. The second day gave me 47.14 euros, gold 40.05, and bitcoin 7.09. The third day was a Saturday, and the bitcoin gave me -7.51 euros. The 5th of Jan., on the trial's fifth day, the outcome was -4.70 euros, gold 7.36, and bitcoin -12.06. On the sixth of January, I decided to stop using Bitcoin and only concentrate on gold. The reason was an excessive drawdown on the account—much more than I expected. Thanks to the repair mode built into the bot. I had repair mode set to 2.5 (the manufacturer's set file). When you use the repair mode, it higher the next trade by 2.5 times. Initially, I started with 0.01 pips. It failed. With the repair mode, the next trade was 0.03 pips. It failed. Next trade was 0.06 pips. It failed. The following trade was 0.16 pips. Even that trade failed. Then came another repair mode of 0.39 pips. A failure. After that came 0.98 pips. Now the sweat broke out on my forehead. If that one failed, I would lose 417.90 euros. My luck turned for the better, and I ended up with 250.74 euros. Uff... The repair mode is a death trap! I considered myself a lucky man and stopped using the bot. Results: Without the repair mode, the bot is a loser; with it, the bot is a dethtrap. Reg EPH1

Yep. Agreed with this. From 0.01 to 0.98. If that 0.98 failed, it will wipe out even an initial capital of USD800 to USD1,000.
There is no edge. This is just pure martingale. See image attached for the screenshot from one of his investor account.

The Seller is a scammer. A lot of his bots are the ones doing the comments. Fraudulently bloating his sales by making it seems like a lot of people are buying his product. Stay away from this seller next time. See below examples of bots using exact wordings.
