Some users had issues with the EA not removing the pending orders at the set time.

If you encounter problems with Night Scalper or any future products released by me or your results vary drastically from the live signal, then please reach out to me directly, so I can have a look.

I want you to have the best chances of success and I can't fix a problem, if I don't know there's a problem.

Have a great day.

Regarding the new "Friday rollover" handling option, I understand some of us were surprised/concerned to have pending orders stay over the weekend. So thanks for adding the option. What's your own recommended setting for it? What will you use for the signal?

No problem. Of course you should have more options on how the EA trades around weekends. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The live signal has always traded on Fridays and will continue to do so. :)

Thanks. Maybe it makes sense to trade on Fridays (and if necessary keep those trades open over weekend), but remove pending orders at 23:30 or 23:57 or so? I understand that if a trade is opened and didn't reach SL/TP, keeping it open may be best. But what's the purpose of keeping stale pending orders, isn't it almost always better to create new ones after market open on Sunday/Monday instead?

Given the changing and sometimes large spread of AUDNZD, maybe the EA should further customize the chart when attaching to enable the Ask line (CHART_PROP_SHOW_ASK_LINE). Just an idea. Of course, I already did that manually, but maybe it'd help others.

I can add it as an option in the next version. I removed it to make the chart clean.

There's an option to set pending orders to expire X minutes before rollover. Though it's not only for Fridays, but the idea is the same.

I could add an option to the Friday input, that trades on Friday, but deletes orders before rollover.

Thanks for the feedback :)

No need to have this as an option, we already have the option in chart settings, let's not clutter the EA parameters with that. I just thought it would be useful to most of us, not make the chart "unclean".

⚠️ CRITICAL UPDATE: SYSTEM BUG & APOLOGY

Hi everyone.

I need to address a critical coding error on my end, and I want to be completely transparent about it.

I made a mistake in the logic for the Inp_CloseTradesInProfit parameter. The intention of this setting was that if set to 'true', the timed close function would close all trades at the cutoff time, including profitable ones.

Due to an error in my code, if this setting was true, the EA only closed trades that were in profit, leaving losing trades open, instead of closing them when it should.

Because of my mistake, several of you had losing trades remain open much longer than the risk parameters intended, resulting in unnecessary losses today.

There are no excuses for this. It is a failure on my part and I take full responsibility for the losses this bug caused. It is not the standard I set for myself or my brand.

THE FIX (VERSION 1.45):

I have rewritten the logic, and a patched version of Night Scalper has already been uploaded to MQL5.

Action Required:

1. Please go to your MQL5 terminal and update to the newest version immediately.

2. Ensure all open trades are closed manually if they bypassed your intended time-cutoff.

I am deeply sorry to those of you who took a hit today because of my oversight. I am implementing stricter code review on my end to ensure an error like this does not happen again.

If anyone was affected by this and needs help configuring the new update, DM me directly here on MQL5
